even though a lot of people are realising the truth about New Labour, I can't see anybody taking the Tories or their leader seriously enough to vote for and the Liberals aren't even considered.

At work today there was a discussion about how some people would vote for him because he was black, and other people said they wouldn't because he was black. (For the record, all of the people I was with were black) - and it got me to thinking, obviously skin color cant always be what determines how people catagorize people into "race".
I would vote for him as it stands because A) He seems articulate and intelligent and B) I'm sure not voting for Hilary...
But what do you think?

Republicans are always talking about values in elected officials, do you think Giuliani’s past will come back to haunt him if he is the republican nominee in the next election? How can a ‘value voter’ justify putting a republican man who has had mistresses and affairs into the office of president, while on the other hand they wanted to impeach a democrat president who did the same?

I would like to know who the Republican candidates are, but all I hear about Hilary and Obama. I've scarcely heard a word about a Republican candidate for '08. This frustrates me, and I'd like to hear (or read) your opinion on why it seems that Democratic candidates make into the news more often. I should mention that I do get some of my news from attending a public high school, if that has any bearing on it.

I know so many black people who don't vote!!! It pisses me off because the right to vote as an African American is soaked in the blood of the martyrs for those who wanted a change! People marched, for it, buses were burned because of it, little girls and young men dies for it yet people still don't get out and vote! why is this?
