In your opinion, what is it about Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) that makes him so appealing to young people and do you think he truly has a shot at the White House?

Why are we letting the 'Parties' decide who we get to choose from? Frankly, the Democrats are offering me a lecturas power hungry woman, an ex-mayor with a disfunctional third-wife family who is infamous for being there during 9/11, and a GENERIC-BREED american (Whom I would choose) with a name that sounds very simular to a man our country is still searching for.

Now... for the Repubs...
Chany's future hopes are in the balance due to a blood clot. Wait...didn't his boss almost die from choaking on a cracker?
Then there is the GENERIC-BREED female, (whom I will never vote for no matter how well she plays the keys.)

Scary thought,

Voters will be FORCED to choose between race and sex during the elections.

The next president will not be a while male.

Would you not want to choose one if you thought he was the best candidate? YOU DONT HAVE THE CHOICE

This is democrat candidate for president, Barack Obama's church. http://www.tucc.org/about.htm
What do you think would occur if a white male running for president belonged to a church like this?

I've listened to him speak and as far as I'm concerned he is our best hope to save this country if he were to be elected President. Here is a link to his Wiki listing and a video.google search.

I am impressed and the fact that he's a Republican is beneficial because there are a lot of Republicans who, despite the overwhelming treason committed by both of the big political parties, they refuse to go Third Party.

Check it out and please come back here and tell me what you think of him.

When voting for a new Representative, Senator, Governor, President, etc... What is most important to you and what is your position on it? If it isn't their position on issues, but rather something like their personal past, devotion, etc., those answers will be fine.

I really don't know who to vote for. Peter Debnam just hasn't put it out there. Morris Iemma's campaign is more about blasting the opposition. What about locally? Does it really matter which councillors you vote for when you don't really know anything about them?

The ability to string a coherent sentence together is regarded in most countries as the absolute minimum requirement for leadership of that country. Only in America could someone like either of the Bushes get elected - neither of them can be relied on to make sense when speaking off the cuff - so how did they get elected?
This has nothing to do with their policies - just their tendency to fall over their own tongues.

Since she is the kind of person who wants to be in total control she is running for President...how many votes to you think she will get once George Bush is out of office. I ask this one because she is a big liberal and is a woman which are two BIG things to win her into office. Which, to me, when someone votes for someone just because of the type of person they are...like black or oldest president or now a woman. This gets really crazy!

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican but if given only the two options, I would probably vote Democrat unless Hillary were the primary candidate.
