Hopefully, the Democratic party in Minnesota will realize this is a farce and nominate someone else. Al Franken may have some knowledge of politics, maybe just enough to spout his mouth off on the unlistenable Air America- actually, now you can't listen to him. But there is no way on God's green earth anyone should vote for him over Norm Coleman

It seems like the comedians make more sense than our president and elected officials... i.e. Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, David Letterman, Jerry Springer, Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Willams and yes Al Franken and many other I can't think of. So why not... If we can elect a an actor, and a drunk...why not a comedian. It sure can't hurt.
