I don't know much about politics but I want to make an informed decision. What kind of government is best for a student without much money?

I will be making my vote based on environmental issues. I'm going to research the promises of my local candidates and find out which one is working the hardest to reduce global warming and to solve Sydney's water crisis.
I think all governments do their best on industrial and transport issues, but it takes certain people to make the effort to focus on the important issue of environment.
My two cents!

Based on economic management policies, Liberal and Debnam are the way to go. The current tactics of the Iemma Government scaring voters into thinking that jobs will be in jeopardy are just that - scare tactics - nothing more.

I don't support John Howard but I will be voting Liberal in the State Election.

Rudd and Debnam are the best ways to vote - although they are from opposing political parties, one is federal, and the other is state. It is time for change in both levels of government.

Hope this helps!

I will try not to vote for personalities, rather political parties. I have always voted Labour because I am not a capitalist. I just wish Gough was still around for your sake, as he was a huge supporter of free education. I don't like Iemma, I think he is a tosser, but think about policies and just feel fortunate that we live in a country in which voting is compulsory, not like the US!
