It is SO the entire political philosophy dingbat.

It is a political philosophy that puts all the money from the bottom inthe hands of those at the top.

The Walter Reed issue is due to a screw-up on Republican's watch, while they Cut Cut Cut all the spending and basically screwed the troops.

People don't even know about how Bush Co. tried to get the American Psychological Association to change the clinical definition of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder so that they could kick troops suffering from it off of thier benefits and in some instances force them to stay in theater while experiencing trauma.

That is the sick story not too many people know.

Walter Reed is only the tip of the Republican Iceberg.

These fools have an essentially flawwed value system. One that says hook yorself up only who gives a damn about the next guy.

Republicans are Cannabals of their own people. Should not be in Government, stick to Business.

A country is not a Business and can;'t be run like one. We have many people ho are too sick, blind. poor, helpless who need to be supported.

If the military teaches you anything it is that you are only as strong as your weakest link.

Bush just screwed our weakest link and we all suffer for it.

You say Support Our Troops.

Go do it now.

Call your damn Congressperson NOW! and DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THESE PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT!

It was a joke before Walter Reed. I was in the military five years ago, and the hospitals were dangerous, unregulated garbage at that time as well.
Supporting the troops means providing them with great pay, great housing and great medical support for risking their lives. And when they get home, you give them great veterans benefits. Right now, every bit of that is a joke. It has been for NUMEROUS ADMINISTRATIONS. DECADES.

It has nothing to do with "party". It has to do with the shameful people at the facility. Why, if so many complaints were vied, did no-one go to the press? If anyone can get something dirty in the news, it's tthe press. If I worked in such conditions and saw this crap, you bet someone would have heard me! The people working there could have dropped anonymous tips to the authorities...... health and human resources, the police, the press,..... SOMEBODY. Party has nothing to do with it, stupidity had a whole lot to do with it. What have you done to support your troops? Have you talked to any and asked about their care/ to say thanks? I have and if I saw something wrong, I'd have no problem finding someone to listen. Don't list all "repubs" in the same category, Some of us don't list Democrats in the same basket. I'm a repulican but not stupid.

Before you go off on a tangent, be advised!
The "mess" at Walter Reed refers only to six out of several hundred rooms. Those six rooms are used only for out patient care. Congress cut funding back in September because the intend was to close this facility. Also, the problem has been identified and is being rectified and an investigation into all veteran care facilities is commencing.

Why? Because we support the troops!

Listen I am a nurse in the army, everyone wants to listen to the communist on CNN and think they are subject matter experts on everything. Things like this happen to old buildings. How are you going to blame the republicans that they have no control over. Maybe if the liberals that are running congress would quit trying to act like they are gold plated and actually give the troops the support and money needed to do the task ahead we wouldn't have theses problems. But no the democrats are acting like if they agree just alittle with the republicans the world would fall apart. You can blame the republicans but if we were to leave it to the democrats we would be treating soldiers in a parking lot somewhere.

Why, whatever do you mean? Republicans support recruiting, training, and shipping troops to war zones so these brave young men and women can be fodder for Bush's lies. Never mind that they send them out with inadequate body armor, trucks, humvees, equipment, ammunition, food, medical care...that's not important.

Republicans don't think they need "support" when they come back, often with missing limbs, eyes, or other serious injuries -- they're supposed to have died on the battlefield! Why do they need support here? It's MUCH more glorious in republican eyes to DIE for your country than it is to LIVE for it! All hail W!

Yea, the Democrats wouldn't have this problem cause the Country would be defended by the United nations so we wouldn't even need a Military. Therefore we could just do away with Military Hospitals anyway.....so there!

No. You're claiming the Republicans are at fault for the "Walter Reed Mess." I don't believe fault has been determined yet. When it is, I think it'll be individuals involved, not an entire political philosophy.
