I see kids and adults simply drop their candy wrappers, fast-food bags, etc. on the sidewalks when there's a public garbage can in plain view. I also have seen folks throw their trash out of the trunks of their cars into the gutters or the sidewalks without regard to the neighborhood or environment, in general. What gives?

At present this is legal according to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court, the Washington Monument,Lincoln Memorial and the Statue of Liberty are also symbols of our great Nation.Do you think they would consider it a political statment to burn them to ashes if you disagreed with the premise of any one of them? Call your Congressperson.Tell them to vote for the ammendment or vote them out!Seriously, what do you think phylisophically?

Don't be shocked, but isn't our "freedom" to buy or not buy a particular newspaper far more powerful than the "freedom of the press?" Without our money, won't the NY Times eventually go out of business?

I'm a strong advocate of privacy and civil liberties, but I now think we need a National ID card. We have the technology to produce one that can't be tampered or forged. Please don't mention the novel 1984 or Big Brother. That was fiction and this is reality.

My answer to my own question would have to be this: I'm not thrilled about them listening to my calls, but if they are, I know that I have nothing to hide. I would rather put up with them listening to me yak on the phone, than have to put up with watching another aftermath of a terrorist attack. If they're able to intercept terrorist phone calls, they can go right ahead and listen.

Local school taxes are based upon our Real Estate values controlled by the government who also controls the taxes and how they are spent.
1st the state Income tax was intoduced to save the schools and reduce the taxes we pay. 2nd the Lottery was going to save the schools and reduce the taxes we pay.3rd the Casinos were going to save the schools and reduce our taxes.
If fact every one has been a lie because the government has taken the money intended for the schools and found a way to give it to special interest groops to help keep them in power.

Many of the father's rights guys were in the army and they'll tell you that when terrified- in the face of immense danger, or where ever- then they become erect. And at that stage every man and woman amongst us knows that a man does *not* have an option- the woman can make him c.u.m without his consent. It's only easier if he's terrified. To make him pay the woman who did this to him is tyrannical. Who ever invented that 'law' needs locked up for life.

The male haters/misandrists get a $billion [of your money] per year and they use that to pump out male-hating propaganda, so we may wonder about this to begin with, and so it will need reversed to put it in perspective. So, just imagine: a woman gets raped and has to pay her abuser for 18 years. Now does it look wrong? Remember, it's actually men who get raped and have to pay their abusers. Only men.

Before anyone says that men are 'willing' in their own rape just turn atha around to say that both sexes are willing. So men and women a

Canada allows "hunters" to club seals on an annual basis. Why? I am an avid animal lover and have started a boycott of the following establishments: Red Lobster, Costco, Sam's Club - not because they use seal, but because they buy seafood from a country that allows the seal clubbing to go on - baby seals, mind you.
People need to stand up more often for what they believe in - if more people did, maybe we could stop unnecessary killings.

You're taking a break in a new town, from college. You're hoping to cultivate your prior study. A co-worker approaches you and says "All my friends think I'm crazy 'cause I smoke pot one day and race bikes the next day." The co-worker is someone that you reported some weeks earlier for possibly being unconvential or racially biased. Should you report the co-worker to management ?

how come people don't care about the risk that Firefighters, EMT's, and police officers take everyday? i mean being a Firefighter/EMT i run into buildings that everyone else is running out of and then looking around a place were you can't see sometimes an inch from your face for a child or an elderly person or even a teenager, then when you get to them you bring them out and you know there ok because you got to them in time, but it's like nobody cares execpt the other people like me, Firefighter/EMT's they know what it's like, but yesterday i walked into the store and i had my fire department shirt on and some guy i didn't know walked up and told me that we were under trained and that we take to long to respond and he lost his house because of us and it hurt me really deep inside. does everybody think like this or just some?
