I think he should, but he is trying to avoid it. I talked to him a few weeks ago and he sounded like he wants to appear non-partisan because it would help him better convince the Republicans to get serious about the threat of manmade climate change.
Also, I saw the movie, but it pales in comparison to seeing the presentation live. I felt that the movie jumped around too much and was not as focused. Plus a lot of the footage was grainy, like whoever was in charge of it took a picture of the screen during a presentation rather than getting a copy of it and putting it directly into the film.
Oh, one other thing, Mr. Gore has a whole lot more personality than the movie expresses. He's got a great sense of humor, and is a typical southern guy. The way the media paints him is completely the opposite of who he really is.

He had 8 years as VP an did nothing. I doubt he'll do much better as President. Not planning on seeing his movie.
I do acknowledge that if we don't change the economics of Renewable Energy, we can expect the economy of 1850 by 2050. This statement is based on more are going to the well as we aren't replacing with new discoveries of oil as we are consuming them. I also question the amount of assets that will be available as the baby-boomers retire. These two factors will collide very soon.

Do you think Al Gore understands that the polar ice caps have advanced and receded many times in earths recent history? If the recorded history of man is but a speck in time, why is Al G. so sure regarding his THEORY about global warming?
Al has too much time on his hands.

The movie was good ... but I think Tom Tancredo should run for president ... now HE would get my vote in a flash ..... talking about inconvenient truths ... he at least is four square anti illegal immigration, and that is a very pressing issue for this nation at the moment ....

Haven't seen the movie. He was the winner in '02 by the popular vote-he was ripped off! I think he has a good chance after all the crap we've been through with the republicans in the past 6 years.

Gore is off his rocker. If he was really serious about climate change, he would have put his entire "movie" onto a CD and shipped it to every household in America...no charge.

I don't think he will, but I wish he would. But then he would have to deal with people once again saying he claimed he invented the internet and all that crap.
I saw the movie, but I was already hoping he would run again.
