What can we do to stop the propsed bill introduced by Sen. Ted Stevens. Phone and cable companies that want to charge websites for faster content delivery. This could be the tip of the iceburg paving the way for higher fees, censorship and an establishment of Big Brother controlling the net. Right now I think all we can do is contact our own Senators and other Senators on the Commerce Committee.

Don't think this is a joke check this site:

OK people - most of you who don't like Bush are probably not even old enough to vote. Regardless, if you don't like him, WHO else would you want in office? Serious answers, please.

I have heard that in the event of a war or civil disturbance the president and his full staff can operate underground under Washington and Virginina. Is this top secret stuff, rumor, or is there some actuality to the statement? I heard that is was put into function after 911 and has been kept active since.

Despite hearing a lot about Net Neutrality, almost all of it has been in favor of neutrality. Aside from the money issue, are there any good arguments against net neutrality?

Mideast fighting in full force. Hezbollah and Lebanon are supported by Iran oil cash. Lebanon also has oil cash to burn. Israel of course is supported by American Tax payers. Hamas is also being attacked in Gaza and in the West Bank of Israel.
Hamas is a islamic terrorist group. Also supported by Iran and some say Syria.
We pay $3 per gallon for gas and the arabs countries use the cash to fund terrorist. We have no leadership in Congress and none in the White House. We need to shut off the flow of cash to the countries that pay for terrorism in the world. Those of you that drive the gas hogs should be very proud that you are paying for the terrorist all over the world. In your view we should give oil rich countries more cash not less.

You see so many from Canada on these boards spouting off off about America yet they are in Canada. Its not even a country...its more of an area that exists because they are next to the United States. I met a guy who was in their Navy a few months back at a lounge and asked him if they paddle their ships or do they really have battleships. Does anyone in the Wolrd even care what some silly canucks say or could they on to something. Montreal is a great place but they are their own place...too bad they didnt get tot seperate like they wanted...I wouldnt want to be associated with Canada either..would you?

if felons cannot vote, why can those on welfare? i believe that if you are unable to manage your life in such an extremely careless manner which requires the taxpayers to support you and house you, why then should you be able to influence the direction of our country? we are going downhill because everybody wants a handout.

what do you think?
