You see so many from Canada on these boards spouting off off about America yet they are in Canada. Its not even a country...its more of an area that exists because they are next to the United States. I met a guy who was in their Navy a few months back at a lounge and asked him if they paddle their ships or do they really have battleships. Does anyone in the Wolrd even care what some silly canucks say or could they on to something. Montreal is a great place but they are their own place...too bad they didnt get tot seperate like they wanted...I wouldnt want to be associated with Canada either..would you?

I imagine inciting hatred in this forum is something that some people find satisfaction in.
I also imagine that the people who "spout off" about America from all over the world do it because of statements like these who give intelligent Americans a bad name.
Facts that you are wrong about:
1.) Canada is a country
2.) Canada has about 33 million people and does not need a huge army because of this and the fact that is is an ally of the US. Yes and ally! Canada's foreign policy is not the US's
3.) You care what Canadians say because you posted this about them.
4.) Montreal is a city and not a province so separation would have happened because of the province and not the city. Actually they did not want to separate as they voted it on it.
This entry you have made is hateful and ignorant and is one reason why some equally ignorant and hateful people "spout off" about Americans.
I love America but people like you make it look bad. I am Canadian.

You do realize that Montreal is the most English part of Quebec and that they were not so much into the idea of seperating from Canada?
In answer to your question, I ask you, what makes a country important? Canada has a better reputation world wide than the US does, economically we are doing much better than the US, physically we are larger than the US, the only thing that the US has that Canada doesn't have is a huge and over funded military.
Compared to Europe Canada is barely "left" (poltically) of the US. There really is not much difference between us at all.

What's your point? Are you merely a US citizen venting over a slur on your country? Build a bridge...!
You claim Canada is not even a country..what constitutes a country in your mind?
I'm a New Zealander. NZ has a total population of 4 million people; my country's population is less than the population of any given city in most countries of the world. We don't really have a navy anymore, & our airforce is defunct. Best of all, we're a nuclear free zone! Long live the ability of the citizens of my COUNTRY to have independent & intelligent thought!

If Canada isn't a country and it doesn't matter, then why doesn't America stop depending on our natural resources. Yah we power up your City of Angels with OUR hydroelectricity.
You are the most insular person ever. I assume you have at most a preschool education and has never been out of your country, maybe not even your shack.
Thanks again for being a stereotype!

Let me get this straight, you insult your closest neigbor and ally and when people try and set you straight on the matter, you whine that you're being "assaulted".
Yep, you're an american alright. You can dish it out, but when it comes to taking it, you run and hide behind mama's apron.
Oh and just to correct Brad, the last THREE times the US attacked Canada it got it's collective *** handed to it. Including the time we captured Manhattan and burned the White house.

Oh come on...Canada is a great country filled with great people. They are the U.S.'s most reliable ally and trading partner as well.
Most Canadians feel the same way about the U.S. and its people.
There's nothing the matter with a little good-natured competition but let's not get mean about it.
