It's almost like they think that we aren't able to handle the grownup details about it.

I mean, freedom is not a made in the USA thing, and exists on every continent.

This is a serious non-partisan question, and not meant to mock anybody. In fact, I'm more curious of what the the supporters of the prez think.

They just can't stand it that alternative sources of news now exist. Why? Doesn't the First Amendment apply to conservatives and liberals and everyone else for that matter? Are they trying to silence conservatives because they themselves are convinced deep down in parts of themselves that they don't want to admit exist that they are actually wrong?

We all must stop connecting religion with terrorism.
Terrorists are terrorists, nothing else.
No religion would have terrorism as an objective.
Terrorists use religion as ammunition and to recruit.
It is brain washing on a very clever level.
If a dog bites you, you have been bitten, it doesn't make any difference as to what church, synagogue or temple it went to that morning, it still bit you, and it still bleedin hurts.
How can we stop religion being used as ammunition for the terrorists ?
How do we educate the naive recruits ?

Muslims perform five daily prayers throughout the day as a form of submission to God. The ritual combines specific movements and spiritual aspects. It is also supposed to serve as a reminder to do good and strive for greater causes, as well as a form of restraint from committing harmful or shameful deeds.

Therefore, terrorists cannot be Muslims.
Terrorists are terrorists, nothing else.
No religion would have terrorism as an objective.

Terrorists use religion as the ammunition and to recruit.
It is brain washing on a very clever level.

Terrorism will end when this can be understood by the naive people who are fooled into believing them.

How do we educate the naive people ?

There are loads of activists groups that each have their own little niche when it comes to making noise to the government about issues they oppose. I'm thinking, war, killing in our name, ID cards, data tapping, whatever it may be, our efforts fail to change the outcome so why do we bother, i think people want to do something but only find certain ways to get involved that include protesting, petitioning and boycotting, but what about facing up to the reality that our government no longer serves the people and has become a corrupt arena of corporate interests with high fying spin doctors who put a human face to the tragedy of our time but actually are so far detached from it that it will never be in their interests to change tack.

Its complicated, i just think there is a time and a place for people to start getting off their backsides and doing something, creating something new, from below, like the Zapatistas or free states all over the world. Could we start again here in England
