Terrorism and religion are clearly linked, in numerous and complex ways. The problem here is you're looking for a singular solution. You're also assuming a great deal when you ask how we educate the 'naive recruits'.
The fact of the matter is 'terrorists' come from all kinds of environments, rich and poor, illiterate thru to phds, deeply religious to entirely secular. Behind every terrorist is a unique life story, as complicated as your own - there is no panacea here.
The only way we can make progress on this issue is rejecting the notion of simple and generalized explanations, an endeavour that is becoming increasingly hard as both politicians and news networks have realized that emotionally loaded soundbites and throwaway simplifications serve their purposes much better.

That is simple; every one looks up to U.S.A as the super model of all nations, the example that must be taken, and above all the land of freedom.
So, if we find it necessary to educate the naive recruits, that religion must not be used as ammunition for terrorism,we have to start with ourselves first. Our Government - while playing the Policeman of the world - is making terrible mistakes, which can be taken as bad examples to the " naive " ones; our track record in Iraq, the way we supported Israel against Hezbollah,
....etc.
Now I don't say it is our fault, no,I,am saying that diplomacy is a 2 way street, and if we play our cards right with the rest of the world,we will get what we want peacefully, and all will be happy. Otherwise, and if we stick to this blind - one way - diplomacy,we shall always suffer from those "naive ones".
why should we suffer ?
Because those people can not separate their religion from their emotions, therefore, they combine them together to produce an act that we call terrorism, but they call it :
" It is a matter of principal " !!!!!!!
So I think we should go to class first !!!

Violence won't end terrorism, that's actual. regardless of if, it could function a deterrant. It additionally prevents some assaults with the aid of killing the perpetrators till now they might breed, and till now they might strike back. the unhappy certainty is that Muslims are the rationalization for ninety% of the international's issues. They kill or attempt to enslave every person that would not follow their worship of the pig eating pedophile muhamud.

The principals governing Muslim relationships with others is vital to militant Islam because in all genocidal activities to date, grooming killers to first dehumanize victims in their minds is an important prerequisite. The indoctrination in sacred script and official publications and media creates the erroneous belief that Americans, Jews, Hindus, and other non-Muslims are not human beings in the same sense as Muslims, and can and should be slaughtered with impunity.
Dhimmitude: the Islamic system of governing populations conquered by jihad wars, encompassing all of the demographic, ethnic, and religious aspects of the political system. The word "dhimmitude" as a historical concept, was coined by Bat Ye'or in 1983 to describe the legal and social conditions of Jews and Christians subjected to Islamic rule.

Here is the problem with your question's premise: it may not matter where your dog came from, as you put it. But what if that dog is followed by another and another and another and they all came from the same place of worship and none from the other places of worship? and none of its other doggie friends spoke up and said "Hey, stop biting people!" And what if when you hit that dog to stop it from taking off your leg, 8 more dogs came a runnin' and said "You! Dog hater! We're gonna bite you for that!" And THEN, while you are fighting off all these dogs, your neighbors look out from behind their windows and said "Just leave those dogs alone! You need to be more understanding... Educate them!"
Ps. "Naive" is a heck of a word to use to describe people who strap bombs to themselves and take out buildings and planes full of people. Or, would you use that mild a word if they killed your family?

Nice try. The unfortunate thing is most terrorists like a handle. religion looks slightly better than say the fight over land between terrorist groups within India and Pakistan. You will never stop it until we have one common religion so its here for ever.

You make a great point. Religion is used as an excuse, but it is not the true reason behind terrorist agendas. The reasons are simply hate and ignorance, yet religion makes a good mask.

Religion inspires passion, and has lots of good catchphrases and rhetoric.
And there will always be people who want to use that inspired passion to achieve their own private agenda.
The answer isn't to reduce the effects of religion, it's to make teaching of tolerance and non-violence such a core principle of every culture that hatred can't get a foothold.

Religion has always been one of the greatest recruiting tools. Who can match the promise of a blissful afterlife. You come up with something more appealing than that and you got your end to terrorism.
