Farmer Joe was in the egg fertilizing business. He had several hundred young layer-hens, which are called pullets, and ten roosters, whose job was to fertilize the eggs.

Joe kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into the soup pot. That took an awful lot of Joe’s time so Joe got a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone so Joe could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report simply by listening to the bells.

Joe’s favorite rooster was old Brewster, a very fine specimen. But on this particular morning he noticed old Brewster's bell hadn't rung at all! Joe went to investigate. The other roosters were chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing. The pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.
BUT, to Joe’s amazement, Brewster had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job, and walk on to the next one.

Farmer Joe was so proud of Brewster, he entered him in the county fair -- and Brewster became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result? The judges not only awarded Brewster the "No Bell Piece Prize" but they also awarded him the "Pulletsurprise" as well.

There was a time in our history when the right to vote was only for citzens who owned land. At least the real vote doesn't come down to the uneducated liberals and their poor masses.

They tell me their liberal media is always bashing America, but the majority of people in the UK, France, Poland, and other European countries do not "hate" America and Americans. Is this your experience too?

CBS ran a segment on these brown bears in Alaska that have no fear of humans so people can photograph them or view them in their natural habitat. Next year throphy hunters will be allowed to murder these animals just for the trill of the kill. Oppose Hunting of Brown Bears Near the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary, Alaska.

I would like to become involved in politics, but I feel like my being a midget causes people to take me less seriously. shouldn't they just consider my views though? I'm solidly against gay marriage and gay adoption, prolife, antiimmigration, and for the posting of the ten commandments in schools and courthouses. shouldn't that be enough?
