Even though it's day (July 4) is the Independence Day of the US, would want it to be recognized very well in both countires?

No - Independence Day stands alone. It is our most important holiday of the year & worthy to not share with anything else.
Pick another day & count me in. My daughter's brother in law is Phillipine & I love him & his family.

July 4 is the US independence and the Philippines has nothing to do with it. The friendship is only among the politicians to ask aid from US but not the people who are until now suffering from US imperialism.

Don't bother me....
Just don't think people gonna notice it.
Don't expect parades.
People in Phillipines would pay it much heed either.
Don't really think they are overly in love with U.S.A.
Declaring something a holiday sounds kinda commie:):):)
