Supporting Police Officers is a great way to make a community better. Many people out there hate police officers and make it impossible at times for them to work. When your drunk in public you expect for the authority to let you go? Why is it that there is so many people that hate these men and women? What's the truth behind all this?

I work at a hotel in california and in a meeting yesterday they said they're installing 3 more cameras at the front desk, some in the back office - which is fine i guess - but the general manager has the power to access the cameras live anytime with an internet connection on his laptop and able to zoom in and get audio - it seems he has way too much power and makes not only me, but the other employees uncomfortable. Is this sort of implementation illegal or even disputable?

C'mon troops, America loves war, right!? As soon as we figure out what O'Reilly means be "war on Christmas," we'll start one! Oh wait, is it possible that it means we actually avoid catering to the Christian fascists and remember that America includes people from dozens if not a hundred different religious persuasions? Does it mean that we remember that American government does not mix with religion or show preferential treatment to any particular one?
Yeah, maybe that's a war worth fighting since it equates to preserving the union.

Do you think I can go to the place (alderman's court in newark, de) and pay them today in person since today is the last day for payment? They said to pay in check on the parking violation ticket I got but do you think I can pay in cash to them?

I know that fees doubles after the date and they can take vehicle for impoundment after late fees get above 50 dollars. But, is there anything I can do today to stop the late fees and stuff? plz help!!!

This "war on Christmas" garbage has got to stop. Seriously, is the average fundamentalist's faith so easily broken that any dissent will cause it to disappear? Does everyone have to raise your god above all others in your presence at all times? Should everyone be made to believe as you do?

And if so, how are you different than, say, the Taliban?

I am a member of the National Guard. I am currently serving in Iraq for the second time. My mother is my primary care giver to my daughter on my Family Care Plan. She is having a tough time due to some medical issues and really needs me home to take care of my daughter. I need to know the process of getting back home where I am needed.

I was watching CNN a few hours ago and I saw good ol' Al Gore talk about Global Warming and some ideas on how to combat it. He also mentioned some ways on how to combat our energy crisis.

With regards to the environment, he said that one idea could be the imposition of tax over the pollution every individual makes instead of the imposition of tax over our salaries.

He further went on to say that if people want to have lower taxes, then we'd have no choice but to lower our pollution production. A little inspirational but, of course, there are problems attached to that idea.

One problem is the determination of the quantity of pollution every individual makes. Another is how to categorize pollution (in other words, what constitutes pollution? What if it's unintentional?).

What are your thoughts on the matter?

Talking to my brief about my court case for 2nd ABH. He said that tagging might be an option instead of prison or as part of the sentence. Does this happen much now because the prisons are full. Anybody know what's involved? Would I still be able to keep my job if I get this?

Obama certainly is anti-family like most democrats. On the night of his Senate victory, Obama's wife cheerfully introduced Obama to the crowd as her "babies' daddy." This is the title that uneducated, unemployed, single parents in the ghetto give the DNA contributor of their children. I felt really bad. In a time where black leaders should encourage young ghetto-ites to participate in responsible family units, we have this articulate leader being referred to not as a father, husband.... but by his own wife as merely a "babies' daddy." Sometimes I wonder if the Black Leaders in this country want young blacks to be stupid, uneducated, poor, single teen parents. A shame. Leaders like Obama are making the blacks themselves turn back the pages 100 years, call themselves the "n" word, and put the chains of stupidity and unemployment around their ankles. A dark era for Civil Rights. I wonder what Martin Luther King would think if he saw 2005 Black America. He'd probably cry.

Re the question about Huckabee destroying computers after his term as governor: Google "Huckabee destroys computers". FYI obtained by Arkansas Democrat Gazette reads: "Huckabee Left Computers, Fund Gutted" - January 19, 2007, NW Arkansas Edition. It is a legitimate concern to me - they were not just erased but destroyed and I find it bothersome. Not accusatory - only curious.
