Dept. of Defense military pay scale in 1949?

I have my Dad's DD214 dated 25 Sep 45. He was paid 268.05. That included $100.00 in "mustering out pay", 7.65 "travel" (He was traveling from Camp Beale CA to Willits CA) so the remaining $160.40 should be 25 days of regular pay. He was a Sgt making $6.42 a day if I have figured this right.
