My state, Wyoming, does not. And we are not a "backwards, hick, intolerant" state. Far from it. We are the kind of people that are "Live and let live, so long as you don't shove your beliefs in our faces, if you do, we hit you in the face."

I'm interested in seeing who you will vote for in 2008. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'd like to know why you are voting for that certain candidiate. Simply saying you are voting for Clinton because she is a woman or Obama because he is black is plain ignorant.

Who are you voting for in 2008? Why?
Why have you eliminated other candidates?

Thank you for your answers.

My question is a two parter. First what is your classification in the in the draft system if you were an only child (thus meaning you couldn't be drafted, I think it was 1-Y or something). Second I have heard of this happening, is there ANYWAY now or back then you could still have been an only child and been drafted (besides obviously enlisting, or asking your status to be changed)?

When the Republicans controlled the Senate, it was all their fault.
When the Republicans controlled the Congress, it was all their fault.
Now that the Democrats control the Senate, its still the Republicans fault.

What am I missing with your logic?

It has been my ambition to bring awareness to the realities of a long ignored and confused debate. That of WMT's profiteering from and aid to the COMMUNIST regime in China in order to undermine domestic labor and avoid living wages with BOTH Clinton's indepth participation for over 20 years. They have equipped the largest standing army ever arrayed to oppose human freedom o this earth in today's Communist People's Liberation Army of China from an ineffective, illequipped and unorganized force only 15 years ago! Hillary in particular has had a most prominent an unseen role in enabling this to happen, a fact I am aware of as a 20 yr WMT insider. How would you tell this story? Where would you turn for help? This is a book entitled "How Hillary & Wal-Mart Saved Communism!" and Wal-Mart is aware of the project. In fact, WMT Chairman Rob Walton has stated this book would "never happen." Thank you for your consideration and suggestions.

Consider what Thomas Jefferson had to say on the subject.

"Subject opinion to coercion: whom will you make your inquisitors? Fallible men, governed by bad passions, by private as well as public reasons. And why subject it to coercion? To produce uniformity? But is uniformity of opinion desirable? No more than of face and stature." --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Virginia Q.XVII, 1782. ME 2:223

At first, I thought that it might ok if they are using it on really really bad people, but after thought, I disagree with it.

They aren't necessary bad people, they just have a radically different point of view. I would want our soldiers to be waterboarding into giving information up.

Instead of our troops being all over the place and spread too thin, we bring them all home, and let the other nations fend for themselves?
Or let the United Nations try to police the world?

Your Thoughts?

I'm confused about the differences of these two countries. I put it out in the public forum to, maybe, get an unbiased answer/definition. I was under the impression that the 2 countries were the same (odd as that may sound!) Obviously they are not! What are the geographical bounderies of the two? Is there a specific language identified with each, and if so, what is it?
Please don't take my innocent questions as a start of some idealogic war. That is not the intent. I would just like to clear up, in my mind, who/what/where these two (really one?) countries are.

This must be the most disgusting repoert I have seen for a long time. The government keep shouting about getting us back to work and super new projects to help and then they give it all to people who should not be here, I will say once again, There is just not enough space in Britain for the whole bloody world. Start to look after us and ours first.

When yahoo message boards were still working, I labeled this situation a "b----slap".

For some reason it caught on and people from both sides of the aisle were using it.

But now, I don't know if I can use the term because people on yahoo answers are report happy. Anything even remotely unPC gets reported.

So I'm suggesting we call it a "spanking".

What do you think?

Canada, a socialist country, ALLOWS their press to discuss the fact that there is no solid evidence of global warming? NO WAY!

Climate researcher Dr. Tad Murty, former Senior Research Scientist for Fisheries and Oceans in Canada, also reversed himself from believer in man-made climate change to a skeptic. "I stated with a firm belief about global warming, until I started working on it myself," Murty explained on August 17, 2006. "I switched to the other side in the early 1990's when Fisheries and Oceans Canada asked me to prepare a position paper and I started to look into the problem seriously," Murty explained. Murty was one of the 60 scientists who wrote an April 6, 2006 letter urging withdrawal of Kyoto to Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper which stated in part, "If, back in the mid-1990s, we knew what we know today about climate, Kyoto would almost certainly not exist, because we would have concluded it was not necessary."
