Both are obviously important. If i had to assign them though right now I would probably say new ideas.
I think what is important is that a president knows that they need to surround themselves with people , some of of who have the right experience and some of who have new ideas.
And they need to be the right people. Not ones that need to be replaced because they were crooks etc.

*Both would be refreshing! How do you get experience minus all the garbage accumulated along the way?
New ideas are fine as long as they stay with in reality and doesn't place undo burdens on society as a whole for the betterment of the few.
Or for the United States as a whole.

Experience. All the ideas in the world don't mean squat if you don't have the experience to bring them to light. That's why you don't make General on the first day.
