Why or why not?

2007-11-30 07:29:36 · 14 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics

single person that owns a house making 45,000 a yr would pay(10%x10750)+(15%x30300)+(25%x3950)=

1075+4545+987=6607

ok so thats basic 6607+2790(social security)+652(medicare)+3442(fica)=13491 in federal income taxe (no deductions no dependants nothing just a single person owns a house)

now if a single person home owner same as above makes 250,000 a yr

and following the same as above would be 82,045 fed income tax

so If the 250,000 dollar a yr is paying 82,045 dollars a yr and and the 45,000 is paying 13,491 a yr ,

please explain where the the person earning more gets a tax break ?

now remember this is just a home owner with no other deductables and single

i cant add state tax due to it changes per state

I am doing something for my school right now and i would like to know what people think of America's international image. What do you think America's international image is and what can we do to change it? Also, are you for changing the image or, against changing the image?

The question can be answered two ways
1. what republican can she walk all over in the presidental debates
2. what republican could you actually settle for in the event of a republican win

1. I would welcome Rudy or Romney to win the nomination. Rudy makes George Bush look actually qualified in my opinion. She's beat him before. She is a very good public speaker with the memories of 8 good years that her husband had.
Rudy has...new york city...and constantly reminds us. He's just not going to win but I welcome it
Same with Romney, he's a slick talker but he also has a businessman loook. After 8 years of a pro-business president, I think voters are going to shy away from him.
So I think Clinton has the best chance against Rudy and Romney --- but god help us if she loses...

2. Not to admit defeat, but in that event I would like to see Huckabee. Comming from Arkansas, I think he is the candidate less likely to be corrupt (that and MCain)

Here are the only 3 differences:

Ron Paul is anti-war.
Guiliani is pro- civil unions.
Romney is a Mormon.

Other than that, they are all identical in my eyes.

So why don't they have any diversity like the Dems?

Since when does presidential candidates need to start fearing for their safety in this country? I see nothing funny about this as a human.

It seems to be to me that most Republicans especially the neoCons and evangelicals wrongfully assume that everyone who doesn't agree with them is a liberal, especially if that individual is a Democrat, which is completely false.

In this section, I keep seeing people who are whining about people waving foreign flags or displaying them on their car and suchlike. These people seem to feel that anyone who displays a foreign symbol or flag is anti-American. They also insist that anyone using foreign symbols or flags is an illegal alien, but I know for a fact that many legal immigrants and many people who were born in the U.S. display foreign flags. So I was wondering, do you actually think it should be illegal to display foreign symbols or flags? If so, wouldn't that be a violation of free speech and freedom of expression rights?
