Technology is obviously alot better. Clean water, electricity, medicine, ect. But since people had more kind and honest characters back then I would choose to live 100 years ago in a heartbeat.

Depends on where you live, in the USA yes. More machines to do the work, better health care, more medications, etc. The down sides are the chemical pollutants in the air and on the earth. The weapons that all of the countries have produced that can eliminate all of humanity.
Agricultural products are not the mainstay of life today. 100 years ago if you didn't grow it you didn't eat it.
No grocery stores etc then.

In America? No way. Life was a lot better with no income tax and living in the most prosperous nation in the world. Now we aren't even a blip on the radar, our dollar is worthless and some people work 6 months out of the year just to pay taxes.

I will take 1907 over 2007 anyday!

In many ways, and then it's worse in some others. Everything comes with benefits and drawbacks- progress is no exception. On the whole, I believe things are better- at least in the United States, as the basic necessities of food, shelter, and clean water are easier to come by than they used to be, and many of the diseases that used to be plagues can be treated now.

Having spent my summers on my grandfather's farm up in the hills of Kentucky when young, I can tell you that having the out house inside, central heat and air, hot running water, a shower that isn't hidden away in the cellar, grocery stores and no need to churn butter, make my life much, much better.

Well, being a woman I would have to answer with an emphatic YES! Women couldn't vote.

We have much more leisure time, more technological advances, better medicine and many, many more things that I can't think of right as this minute.
