Maybe they should.We seem to be loosing our grip on how a country should be run.Their currency is stronger,they have a tolerance to other cultures,and they've stopped invading other nations.

Is there an offer out there? If so, I haven't heard about it. And in all fairness, perhaps it should be divided among ALL the colonial rulers: Britain, France, Spain.
Or maybe go back even further. Maybe return it to the multitudinous Indian nations that prevailed here before the advent of the Europeans.

Why should we even consider it?
all it's given us is litigation laywers
bad tv programmes
an unstable stock market
banks that have got caught up in the American bad debts
and we don't like American football or baseball or religion
or killer bees or G Bush
