...if you earn more if you are married then you do if you are unwed? If so does anyone know what the difference in pay is or an estimate of?

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience....my fiance lives in the UK, I live in the US. We've had a relationship since May of 06, making relatively frequent visits back and forth to spend time with each other, and have been engaged since August. We are going to marry next Oct. here in the US, and will file for a spouse visa for me to go to the UK. I'll be going to visit for a few days in December and I'm nervous about passport control...when I'm asked what the purpose of my visit is, if I answer 'I'm visiting my fiance and his family' how will this be received? My instinct is to not go there at all and say 'I'm on holiday', etc., but I want to be truthful, and don't want to encounter problems. What's the best way to handle this?

so how do you go about doing this? is it possible to tip off the cops and tell them the address where you think underage drinking is occurring? i've heard that you can call the cops on people having a party, and the cops can ask the residents to move their cars if they are lining the street, and then can arresst underage drinkers if they seek alcohol or drunk kids. is this true?

What industry is she advocating being state owned anyway ?...Her healthcare plan is far from Universal or "socialist".... in fact it still keeps the entire industry private. That's not socialism, that's modernization by means of regulation for the benefit of the consumer.

Anyway, people were calling her a socialist before her plan.....

So do cons not know the definition of the word ?....or are they just name calling as usual ?

1) Employers wouldn't have to provide Health Care.

2) Employees would be able to leave a job they didn't like, but were tied to because of the benefits. Employers and Employees would benefit from this. People could pursue their entreprenurial activities more freely. Employers wouldn't be stuck with employees that didn't want to be there.

Giving us the same product the municipalities gave us for 10 times the price and 4 times the resouces wasted.

It takes 4 liters of water to make the bottle one liter of bottled water comes in. It costs 17 million barrels of oil a yr to make that bottle and keep it cold in the store. Plastic bottled dont disintegrate.

I had this guy on the internet who I thought was a really great friend. We had known each other somewhat for about a year but never really talked until these past few months. We talked on mic and on the phone and emailed. He came into a bind stating his internet was going to be shut off and a utility bill because his retirement money never came that week. I of course felt bad and offered to loan him $500. He said no no but I insisted just once and he jumped on it. I sent cash via western union from the U.S where I live over to him in the U.K where he lives. He stated in an email and many of our yahoo conversations and on the phone that he would pay me back in a few weeks. A MONTH has passed and now he stated by Dec. 14th he'd pay me back. I have been sending emails because I haven't heard from him lately and I found out he's just deleting them without reading them. (I have his email password.)
How can I get my money back, any legal action when its a different country? NO BS pls

I was reading something and I saw a loop hole at our system say I kill someone and I pleaded not guilty and say(pretend) I have mental "issues" and so they sent me to an asylum and awarded me a seriouis amount of cash(y'know for arresting a mentally handicapped person), since I have the money and I am only pretending to be sick I could be out of the asylum with cash and totally get away from murder??? what do you think???

For every white American family losing a home we have a family of color losing theirs .
Now since people of color make up less then 25% of our population it seems as if they are twice as likely to have problems .

Why is this in a nation that claims to be fair and honest in its dealings with people .


Could it be they lured Minority people into purchasing homes , taking their meager savings from them, and rolling them into the mortgage with , finance fees , commissions , and dozens of other hidden and suspect charges to cheat the unsuspecting working minority class yet again out of its money .

We are still a major ally with Saudi Arabia, even though almost all of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudi, and no other country provides more foreign fighters to Iraq and Afghanistan. They are a kingdom run by a family, and the country as whole denies civil rights to women. Most of the population of the country hates America, and many would think twice about killing Americans. They harbor terrorists. And giving all that, Bush is still in bed with the Saudi royal family, and we buy most of our oil from them. Does this mean that terrorists are OK as long as they sell us oil? How many American lives lost are acceptable for a barrel of Saudi Crude?
