So you are telling me that if 20 different polls taken all over the country with different pools of voters produce the same conclusion..they are all wrong?
Do you still believe the earth is flat as well?

Okay..how many of you who dismiss said polls believe that new poll that says Hillary would lose to the top Republican candidates if running head-to-head? How many of you believe the poll that rates Congress at 12%?

Linkage as requested. Note the "liberal" Zogby poll is the only one that dipped below the 50% mark.

Chase - Don't be so vain to think I was attacking only you. You aren't the only one who responded that polls are biased. Read the link..12 polls say pretty much the same thing..between CNN, FOX, Pew, and Harris... I think it's hilarious that you allow your BIAS to determine whether you agree with a poll's findings or not.

Polls can be manipulated and we all know MOST of the papers are Liberal and so I personally do not think that the polls were accurate.
Not just because of Clinton, I just do not trust polls in general, they have so many variables that make them inaccurate.

I have never seen so much spin and ignorance than I have from most of these answers. Want to rile up some conservatives? Remind them that Clinton was an amazing president. Polls don't matter. Unless of course you are talking about our current Congress. Even then you can expect them to ignore the fact that the Democrats have only a slim majority.

Clinton was not "only" liked by "far left liberals." His approval rating was so high because, as his wife is, he was a centrist liberal, which means he appeals to both parties. This is a way of appeasing most left-wingers, yet also garnering votes from a good portion of moderate republicans. It's really a crock. We need a leader right now who is going to revamp our failed political structure and finally do away with this bipartisan garbage... but, alas, that will never happen in our lifetime. We are more likely to see a civil war before a multi-partisan, equal platform.

Because he was universally liked. Only the moderate right wouldn't admit to it. The far right prayed about it and wouldn't admit to it and the central left kept their mouth shut as usual. If lying about an extramarital affair is grounds for impeachment, I wonder what the penalty is for war crimes? I guess we'll know in another 40 years or so. Good luck with your question. Dems don't win because they're like Scottish Highlanders. They think fighting amongst themselves is more fun than running the country! Reps put aside their squabbles and they all grab for the money and power as one entity. It seems to work. But I think America is tired of parties all together. How about vote for the best person for the job and get rid of all of this electoral votes, etc.

Wow, I think some of the respondents here need to learn just a little bit about statistics. I mean, if a the results of a poll come out and you disagree with them, then the poll must be wrong or biased.

Bill Clinton had the highest approval rating upon leaving office, 65%, of any president since Einsenhower.
And my good captain...Clinton was never offered bin Laden....that's right wing smear and an outright lie!
And...a recession as defined as two quarters of negative growth...the economy, although slowing, was still growing when Clinton was in office....the recession happened under Bush II. Get your facts straight!
In fact, Clinton recognized and did more to fight terrorism than any other president, and was fought every step of the way by a republican controlled congress.
People admired Clinton because he fought back and beat Gingrinch at the government shut down, and refused to cave in.
People admired Clinton because he was able to ad lib speeches, and speak from the heart, and have a good command of the English language...something that's missing in today's White House.
He vetoed Welfare legislation by republicans because it did not do enough to help single working mothers get daycare, enabling them to get back in the work force. The original GOP legislation did not provide enough in this area, yet the right wing smear machine likes to take all the credit for this, too.
Clinton taxed the richest one percent of the population...Bush gives these billionaires tax breaks at a time of war.
The repulicans had to get Clinton on something, so they spent millions of tax payer money to find out the president had a perfectly legal, consensual affair....something that never should've been investigated, because this was a CIVIL matter, and no president has EVER been taken away from their duties to face CIVIL charges in court.
Our President has more important matters, but the power lusting right wing had to bring him down someway.
Most of America recognized this, and Clintons final approval rating says it all.
Bush will never see 65% ...unless it's his basic test score on English language skills.

Because a far left liberal during Clintons presidency is what we would call a moderate Democrat today.

The economy was good there were no major military conflicts. He was lucky. Remember though that he was elected the first time with only 42% of the vote and the second time with only 49%.

The economy was good and the terrorists were calmly going on with and about their business. Clinton had the gift of "mouth" and loved the ladies. Such a deal!
He is very likable because he is very "coy" and has the ability to use speech to deceive..............

Because he is liked by more than just the far left. Plus during his presidency, there was nothing going on to disapprove of.. nothing outside or out from under the desk in his oval office.
I never voted for Clinton but that doesn't mean I didn't and don't like him.
