Lol!!
You Yanks don't know anything about Socialism!
You are so sick with greed and selfishness that the idea of contributing to anything that makes a better, fairer nation and benefits all your citizens immediately gets labelled as "stealing"! "but its MY taxes" you whine. "Me me me me me!!!! I need that money to spend on consumer items and rubbish!"
I pity you. You have no concept of society. Here in the UK everyone has a right to be cared for when they are sick and noone goes bankrupt because they or a loved one have cancer. To me thats what its all about. I wouldn't want to live in a country where people went without healthcare or struggled to pay doctor's bills.
Socialism is the natural way for a developed society to be organised. Even cavemen lived in Communities and looked after their old, sick and young. This sick, evil, greedy "me me me" attitude which seems to be drummed into you from infancy is like a cancer which is killing your nation
.
Look at it this way. We in the UK have a "socialist" health care system and many other socialist policies. Yet our currency is still worth twice of yours, plus kids here don't die of a tooth abcess because their parents were too poor to pay private medical fees (and no we're not all "pulling our own teeth" due to a dentist shortage, that was a load of crap from your hysterical, anti-Hillary media)
God bless Mrs Clinton I hope she does get in and gives the poor and less fortunate of America what should be theirs by right as citizens of a civillised country. I could never live in America.

It's a scare tactic that worked for them before in the past many times. The old Bush even tried it on Bill till he reminded George Sr how his own family member stood up to Mc Carthy.
People who call every Democrat socialist just for wanting health care or any other social program think anything less than jungle capitalism is socialism. They are actually the ones promoting social Darwinism, survival of the fittest
These are the same type as those who yelled socialism when child labor was abolished

As they are to the right of most Democrats and of Socialists, they appear from the conservatives' point of view to be standing close together. That is an illusion caused by a lack of depth perception.
American conservatives range from "classical liberals" who believe in liberty and therefore in limitation of government to conservatives who emphasize "conserving" everything more or less as it is, or as they grew accustomed to it being at some time in the past. This second form of conservative is a relatively new phenomenon in the U.S.; it's the old Tory party which lacked influence from the Revolution, which they opposed, until a combination of Nixon's southern strategy and Reagan's "revolution" revived it as a force in the Republican party.
These points of view should not be confused, and neither should the wide range of views on the left. Most Democrats are neoliberals, who advocate the use of government as a tool on behalf of liberty (and might well point out that since government is a major factor in reducing liberty, especially in economic terms, it's worth considering using that power to reverse those effects).
Socialists go much further in that they advocate government control of the means of production. Neoliberals merely advocate the use of government power to extend liberty, including economic freedom.
It is, I grant, a potentially slippery slope, but so are the conservative ends of the scale. A Tory-style conservative values stability over liberty, and a classical liberal allows government to damage economic freedom but not to extend it.
Terms like "fascism" and "communism" do not belong in any reasonable debate about the middle. While particular measures advocated by some politicians might suggest that they are sliding down their side of that slippery slope, they are generally not anywhere near the bottom yet, and it does no good to push them downhill.

Gimmeabreak. the single largest "socialized" give away in the history of America is Bush's Medicare plan.
The right wing can't run on their record...lies to take us into war, deficit spending, an obscene debt after being given a surplus, torture, rendition without habeau corpus, spying without court order, secret prisons, failure to provide adequate health coverage for our vets, mishandling of Katrina, outing a CIA agent as an act of political revenge, asking our wounded vets to pay back their enlistment bonuses, the list goes on forever.
The only thing the right wing has is their very effective smear machine.
And the gullible and uninformed will believe the continuing lies.

The truly socialist religious conservative right is behind the movement that claims socialism is bad yet religious groups another form of socialism is good .
Socialism benefits the rich white religious upper middle income families in America .
Everything swings their way fro tax cuts to lower interest rates to investment funds that some people are put in verses others with whom they tend to gamble with .
Its a white mans nation and a socialist one at that but the benefit is for the few that are above the rest as the benefactors of their own brand of socialism .

Health care IS an industry. So is health insurance. Maybe you're a little young to remember what she tried to do in the 90's.
Regulation is a nice way of saying government controls the means by which industry functions. Semantics aside, It's more government control jammed up our daily lives weather we like it or not. I do not!
If Hillary's goal is NOT socialized medicine, why are we subjected to non-stop comparisons of socialized medicine that already exist???

Because, like their leader, Georgie Bush, they seek easy answers, and avoid answers that require independent thought.
As opposed to Democrats, who follow the advice of John F. Kennedy: "We choose to do things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard!" But then, Georgie Bush is no Jack Kennedy. JFK found WMDs, and won a war over them without firing a shot.

Socialism:
1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
Her healthcare plan is an obvious step away from capitalism and free markets towards government control. This is clearly socialism.

Hillary is a socialist . . . she wants the government to control most aspects of our everyday lives.
As President, she plans to:
Make health care affordable and accessible to every American. NOT LEAVING IT UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.
Reduce the cost of energy and make us energy independent. AGAIN, TAKING IT OUT OF THE HANDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL COMPANIES, FORCING US ALL TO ALTER OUR LIFESTYLES TO A MORE COSTLY ALTERNATIVE, WHILE CONTINUING TO TAX US.
Expand access to affordable, high-quality child care. COSTING THE INDIVIDUAL COMPANY. IF A CHILD CARE ORGANIZATION IS IN A COMPETETIVE MARKET, THEY HAVE EVERY INSENTIVE TO BE THE BEST, AND TO MAKE MORE MONEY. IF THE GOVERNMENTS STEPS IN, WHAT'S THE POINT?
Make college more affordable. THIS ONE, CAN'T REALLY SAY MUCH ON, IT WOULD BE NICE, BUT THEN AGAIN, IT IS MY CHOICE NOT TO ATTEND COLLEGE. IF I WANT TO GO, THERE ARE WAYS TO PAY FOR IT.
Protect families from predatory lenders and help them avoid foreclosures. IS IT NOT THE FAMILIES' CHOICE TO ACCEPT THE LOAN? SHE DOESN'T WANT TO HOLD THE INDIVIDUALS WHO SIGN THE DOCS ACCOUNTABLE, ISTEAD IT'S THE LENDERS . . .
Increase the minimum wage. THERE WE GO, DRIVE MORE BUSINESSES OUT OF THE US.
Create good jobs with good wages to expand the middle class. IF IT COSTS MORE FOR THE COMPANIES TO STAY HERE HOW CAN GOOD JOBS W/ GOOD WAGES BE CREATED. WILL WE ALL HAVE GOVERNMENT JOBS?
Balance the federal budget so we don't pass today's massive debts to the next generation. THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE, CAN'T SAY MUCH HERE.
Reward savings, protect pensions, and provide greater retirement security. WHY IS IT THE GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSIBILITY?
