Daisy apparently you are not real informed about news.
Did you know that the Lou Dobbs statement that they were new 7,000 cases of leprosy were flat and wrong statement.

It's not a matter of belief, it is a fact.
Of course there are /other/ sources of waste, fraud, and inefficieny in our bizarre hybrid healthcare system, but not getting rid of the burden of illegals won't make any of them better, either.

Oh that is a good one.
The finding from Alexander Ortega and colleagues at the school was based on a 2003 telephone survey of thousands of California residents, including 1,317 undocumented Mexicans, 2,851 citizens with Mexican immigrant parents, 271 undocumented Latinos from countries other than Mexico and 852 non-Mexican Latinos born in the United States.
First, who is Alexander Ortega? The last name might give you a hint to possible bias. Second, the so called "study was done in 2003, there is 5 million more illegals here now. Third, as already pointed out, it was based on a telephone survey. Oh gee, that is real accurate.
The pro's must really be desperate if they are resorting to quoting bogus studies that are 5 years old.

sigh. Yes, ask the health care workers that are out of a job because of them. Perhaps check where your tax dollars go to support them. It's a stupid question and a slanted survey.
By using inmigrant (which is not what we are talking about no matter how you try to slant the subject)as your blog site you show exactly how biased and ignorant you are. For those that don't know "an Inmigrant is someone who migrates from one part of their country to another"
So run off, sing kumbyya or whatever soothes your ignorance. Keep your fingers crossed that they continue to bring this country own which is your goal in the first place. And as heartless as it is I could not care less about the children of illegals and their health. If they wanted healthcare then they should go about it the right way. As for you and your bleeding heart, keep tilting at those windmills Don. We will defeat this parasitic invasion and hopefully fools like you will go with the criminals you love so much.

Yes
Did you even bother to read your link? All it says is that the minuscule amount of illegals surveyed go to the hospital just slightly less than Americans, would you like to guess who pays for those trips to the hospital? Also the "research" , wow that word does not fit in this particular situation but, the "research" was via a telephone survey.... pft, try an economic impact study performed by specialists with their methodology laid out for all to see........

Yes. Your link was a 2003 telephone survey asking how often illegals went to the doctor. There was no data in the article on the burden on taxpayers to pay for healthcare for illegals.

Yes, according to this article, 81% of new TB cases are brought here by illegal immigrants. Plus a new drug resistant form that costs $250,000 in medication.
Polio, malaria. leprosy and dengue fever are all making a comeback in the U.S. If this isn't a U.S. Healthcare burden, I don't know what is.

This was already covered the other day.
As was said above. This was NOT research, it was a telephone survey. Do you actually think an illegal alien...in this country ILLEGALLY....is going to ADMIT to receiving free health care??? Common sense stuff....
What is the incentive to tell the truth? NONE!!!! They don't even have a reason to tell the truth about BEING an illegal alien, much less receiving health care that they didn't pay for!!!

You do realize that such studies are limited in accuracy based on the scale of the subjects involved. The phone survey asked 1588 illegal aliens (if I read it right) meaning that only 0.00794% were interviewed. That is a very very limited survey. Follow the financial transactions at hospitals and you'll find a different story playing itself out.

Those other links do nothing to support your basic thesis. It merely shows that there is home grown corruption in the US, but it does nothing to refute the view you intended to refute.

Yes I do. And I believe that if UCLA studies ASK them 'are you here illegally' and 'do you use public funded healthcare' the study's research methodology is seriously flawed.
