There is rumor that he is talking about getting congress to introduce a bill that would help people with good credit get out of ARMs. 1) it hasn't hap pend, and 2) it won't help people with bad credit, and these tend to people the people who have ARMS.

Finally it would be best to allow the market to correct it self, if the government bails the lenders and those who got the loans out it would only encourage future bad behavior, knowing that the government will be there to bail you out should you make a bad lending decision. Plus you think you sign a lot of paperwork now when you buy house just wait.

No. The President cannot start legislation. Bills have to be presented in Congress, approved, then passed to the President to sign or veto.
No such law has been enacted.

learn how our goverment system works. Executive branch doesn't just up and pass bills without any ones elses involvement. realistically the presidents power is pretty minimal.
