When you go into that voting booth in November 08' think about this. Are my thoughts in line with Rosie O'Donnel, Alec Baldwin, George Clooney, and Cindy Sheehan??? Or are my thoughts in line with General Petraeus, Pat Robertson, Clint Eastwood, or Bruce Willis?????

Labour officials in Birmingham have stated that they have banned all men from being a party candidate to succeed Clare Short as a city MP. They have also hinted they won't be picking any white women. The constituency is of mainly ethnic origins.

I have seen questions where someone was asking about abortion and pro-lifers go after them. What gives you the right to judge? Will you be adopting this illegitimate child or paying the medical bills when it is born? Or buying diapers or formula? I agree that it shouldn't be used as a form of birth control, but less than 1% of women who get abortions are doing it a second time. There are more reasons than one for doing it.

Its in who is donating the money. Ron Paul's top 3 donors are Google, the Army, and the Navy. For other candidates, they are a who's who of elites.

Hillary: DLA Piper, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley
Obama: Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, National Amusements Inc.
Giuliani: Ernst & Young, Elliot Management, and Credit Suisse Group
Romney: Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Marriot International

The real choice we have in this election is between electing a puppet of Goldman Sachs and similar companies or a man of the people. Do we want to let these elites continue to run our country into the ground or do we want to return America to what it was intended to be? Should we elect Ron Paul or should we elect one of the bought-and-paid-for candidates who oppose him?

This is not a mean spirited question! If you consider yourself to be a Liberal, have you ever admitted you were wrong concerning your stance on a topic and then apologized?

I'm a conservative Republican as well as a corporate executive. When I ,or those associated with my company, make a mistake,I'm the first to raise my hand and accept responsibility, and then implement the solution.

my friend got pulled over about a month ago for doing 90 in a 50 mph zone. They gave him a court date which was today. He went to court and he told me that they charged him with a 600.00 fine as well as a 30 day jail sentence. He said (which I don't believe) he apealed the decision so they let him go and he has to return to court January 9th with a lawyer. Have you ever heard of something so obscene? I know I've never in my life heard of garbage like this. He does tell lies every now and then so it's not unusual. bUT it's to my understanding that if you get locked up and they put handcuffs on you as he said in court and then let you go. Come on now have you ever heard of anything like this?

Forget whether or not the same-sex marriage should be legalized. Marriage is primarily a religious institution/rite. Why should the govt have the right to dictate who can or cannot get married? If the govt legalizes same-sex marriage, its only a lawsuit away (depending on the makup of the Supreme Court) from forcing religious institutions to recognize such marriages (and don't try and say that govts have never interfered with religious rights with respect to marriage before; they have). At the same time, if a religion feels they should have the right to marry same-sex couples, great! Let 'em do it. Not religious, but stil like the idea of a ceremony? Cool! Go out and do that in what ever manner strikes your fancy!

As for the legal benefits of marriage, there shouldn't be any. Go out and get powers of attorney, estate planning, etc to take care of those things.

With the exception of protecting minors from exploitation, the govt shouldn't be involved at all!

He is portrayed as African American when in reality he is HALF Black. He doesnt even look Black. He wont be the first African American to become President if elected.

And its debatable just how "American" he is. He grew up many years of his life in Indonesia. Theres white people that are born in South Africa, If they became American citizens would you laugh if they CORRECTLY called themselves "African Americans" also?

Tricky subject....

For several weekends now, protesters have been gathering outside the Pruitt's furniture store in central Phoenix and it's hitting the store where it hurts. Immigrant rights activists are targeting the store near 36th Street and Thomas. They gather shouting "Don't buy racism" at customers. Owner Mike Sensing says it's causing him to lose money. "Probably put us out 15 to 20 percent." "Overall, I think I've got about $176,000 in sales I've lost because of this." Sensing says he stands to lose another $400,000 through the holiday season -- his busiest time of the year -- with no resolution in sight. Sensing says they've lined the store's delivery trucks up in front of the parking lot in an effort to shield customers from the protesters. "I don't now that we could sit down and negotiate or do anything else. We just have to wait until the city steps in and do something, I think." Both sides claim the other renigged on a deal worked out by the mayor's office last year about where day laborers are allowed to gather. But, Sensing calls the whole thing ridiculous especially when it's affecting his bottom line. "We need to see the mayor step in and at least stand up for us. We are being called racist for crying out loud." http://ktar.com/?nid=6&sid=646215

BAGHDAD — Taking advantage of a dramatic drop in car bombings and sectarian murders, Baghdad residents are once again venturing out to local markets and restaurants after dark in many parts of the city. They're celebrating weddings and birthdays in public places and eating grilled carp on the Tigris River late into the night

A local television station has begun a feature called "Baghdad Nights," showing the capital's residents shopping, eating and socializing after the sun has set— a sight that until recently was unheard of in most neighborhoods.

My husband is depressed, and has threatened suicide. I plan to take him to the doctor, but I will be missing work for this. If he needs further care beyond medication, such as watching him to make sure he doesn't hurt himself, I would also need time off work. Is this covered by the Family Medical Leave Act, and is this still in effect when I have changed positions in the same company within the past 6 months? I hate to decide between my husband's health and my career, but we cannot survive without the money, and my job is very strict about unplanned time off. Any help is much appreciated.
