I have seen questions where someone was asking about abortion and pro-lifers go after them. What gives you the right to judge? Will you be adopting this illegitimate child or paying the medical bills when it is born? Or buying diapers or formula? I agree that it shouldn't be used as a form of birth control, but less than 1% of women who get abortions are doing it a second time. There are more reasons than one for doing it.

I'm sorry you have found that true. I know it is too. For me I am pro life. But I am not here to decide for everyone else. Its sad to me that women have to make that decision. I am amazed at the strength it takes to make that choice. This is not an answer I know, but I wanted you to know my decision for pro life is for me alone, and everyone else out there, their choices are theirs to make and I disagree with them being judged.

Most people who post "questions" about abortion are really just posting their own point of view with the hope that they will somehow convince the potential millions who may look at the post.

By doing that, they are encouraging people to post their own personal viewpoints.

I've seen dozens of "questions" about abortion and nearly all them, whether "pro choice" or "pro life" are rants written by trolls who should not be surprised by the responses they receive.

What gives someone the right to kill their baby? You can call it a collection of cells all you want, tell me it can't think, it can't know things, but the fact is, if you were to leave it alone it WOULD turn into a baby. How could you NOT consider a baby in that sense? A caterpillar becomes a butterfly, and yet they are still the same entity. They just exist in different states at different points in time. I find the practice of abortion abominable, and I am disgusted that people would assert it is their RIGHT to do away with THEIR OWN CHILDREN just for the sake of convenience of their irresponsibility.

No, I will not be adopting the children they want to throw away, I won't be buying them diapers or baby formula, that is THEIR job. It's not my job to pick up the slack from those who can't be responsible.

It may be that less than 1% of women get more than 1 abortion, but I know many women that have had at least 5, and several that are in double digits now. The usual reason is "I wanted to get laid, but I don't want a kid". I find it acceptable to have an abortion if the mother's life is in danger, but these account for well less than 1% of abortions.

I don't go after anyone. I just try to educate them as to the side effects. I've worked with several pre and post-abortion patients and have experience on this subject. Women should know all the facts before making this decision. I also believe the government should stay out of it.

That is part of the control, they think they are allowed to control everything about a person! If they are allowed to have sex, what kind of sex they can have, if they should get low priced birth control, or just keep their knees together. You obviously are not allowed to have an abortion, because it is against what THEY believe. What you believe is not important!

Can't give a good reason except that they feel super-strongly about it.
(But I would have to ask why it's the people who claim to be "pro-life" who always want to go to war and who support the death penalty.)

**Added: I did ask that.

there seems to be a love for the drama behind it all...be prepared for prayers to be offered as your question has a pro-choice bent :)
