For refusing to enforce my court-issued child support order? My deadbeat ex owes my son over $15,000.00. and New Jersey will not serve papers on him at his place of employment. I have written to the Governor and to the State Attorney Generals Office and have not received any response.

everything you earn thing, and reporting in to a probation officer once a month. Well this P.O. is very rude. She has made my friend cry on more than one occassion. My question is, what is the job of the probation officer? Is it to make sure that person doesn't do well? I have been trying to help my friend find a job but with a felony, it is hard. She didn't murder anyone and she is such a sweet person. I am just so concerned because she isn't seeing any hope in having a shot at a normal life. Where might she be able to go to find a job that will hire someone that has a felony? Please don't say she is a loser and doesn't deserve a seconed chance, because that is NOT the case. She made a mistake, a mistake that any one of us could be facing. Three drinks with dinner, hit someone, felony dwi. If you only have mean words to offer, please move on to the next question to where you might actually be able to help. Thank you.

As they are over tapping overseas conversations? From Amy Lorentzen of the AP:
Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards said on Sunday that his universal health care proposal would require that Americans go to the doctor for preventive care.

"It requires that everybody be covered. It requires that everybody get preventive care," he told a crowd sitting in lawn chairs in front of the Cedar County Courthouse. "If you are going to be in the system, you can't choose not to go to the doctor for 20 years. You have to go in and be checked and make sure that you are OK."

He noted, for example, that women would be required to have regular mammograms in an effort to find and treat "the first trace of problem."...

"The whole idea is a continuum of care, basically from birth to death," he said. [emphases added]

In NYC, for example, there has been, for over a year, mandatory reporting to the government by law of diabetics' blood sugar test results so that people with diabetes can be visited by government health police and strong-armed to do this or that in terms of conventional therapies or interventions (as determined and sanctioned by the government).

On June 27, 2006 the New York Times published a prominent op-ed essay by an influential professor at Columbia University, Barron H. Lerner, M.D., who suggests that people who test positive for HIV and who decline or refuse to take their prescribed antiretroviral drugs might be locked up in "detention wards" at places like Bellevue Hospital and, similar to people with tuberculosis, forcibly medicated with HIV-AIDS drugs for up to two years."

Is America a miracle country where you have the right to life liberty and the persuit of happiness. Does something miraculous happen where a person sets foot on American soil? Is America above and beyond other countries that do not support freedoms?
Do Mexican's have title to rights in USA that that Russia does not have in China? It is time for some Americans th face reality. Mexicans are here. Deal with it on a civilized level. If you think that abusing them is civilized or will serve any purpose there is a political position for you in Botswana.

I thought there were no strings attached to free speech. It was pointed out to me in a different question that I have asked, and was told say whatever you want, there are no strings on free speech.

If there are hate speech laws, and you can get in trouble for yelling fire in a crowded theatre, then YES there are limitations on free speech.

Your take?

I was fine with them staying with us for a short time or heck even being there when he's home. They now have a key and my roommate is completely ignoring my requests that they vacate. I live in Portland, Oregon. I believe Oregon allows individuals who are not on the lease just 6 weeks to stay if they have no intention of getting on the lease. Any info is much appreciated.

The people who believe the Un has no pwer has no faith in the power of the people. The UN members are going to vote in the direction that they feel will do the most for the most without physically hurting anyone in the process.
Example: The UN votes that Mexico has rights in USA going back hundreds of years. Politics has blurred their rights but the right are still there. What country is going to vote that the USA physically throw out Mexicans. Dream on. Then when the UN votes that Mexicans have rights what do you think the Supreme Court of US is going to do? Dream again. Some racists are living in a dream world.

She has never had a ticket before and has a clean dmv record. The cop said she was speeding, but it was only like 5 miles over. She was ticketed for not having a license with a current address! Her license is up for renewal in a few weeks, when she will be moving and she did not want to change it to the current address, then have to change it again when she moves, so she let it stay at a previous adress, and the colp cited her. Can she fight this in court, and is it even worth the hassle? Was the cop being a "hiney"?
