1. Leadership - I know it's kind of a vague answer, but the success that he had in business, as well as in Mass. tell me that he has it. It's the thing that make some companies fail under one CEO and succeed under another (like Apple).

2. Penny-pinchedness - It's what he was known for in biz.

3. New, good ideas - I like his health care solution.

Let me repost an answer I gave to a similar question:

Mitt Romney, who by the way has never starred in a movie or TV show, has worked hard for every inch that he has gained in this election. He's raised more money than any other Republican, including the ever-present Rudy Giuliani, and currently holds first place in both Iowa and New Hampshire. He hasn't had to rely on "star power" or an already existing base of fans to get himself where he is. (And by the way, anyone who thinks all Mormons support Mitt Romney just has to take another look at Senator Harry Reid).

Mitt Romney came into this election as the definition of underdog. Don't talk to me about Ron Paul, either. He hasn't had to overcome a reputation (totally unearned) for being a draft-dodging, flip-flopping, dog-torturing panderer. They started out at virtually the same spot in the polls, the only difference being that Romney is a former Governor and Ron Paul is a multi-term Congressman. You'd think the good doctor would have the edge with that, but his place in the polls has hardly wavered, while Governor Romney's star has done nothing but rise ever since.

Even more shocking is the fact of Governor Romney's Mormonism (gasp, shudder, what will people think?). Those who think that Mitt Romney is one to take the easy way out should keep in mind that the easiest way to get ahead in the Republican Party would have been to leave the LDS Church a long time ago and become a Baptist. Having the strength of character that he does, though, Mitt Romney would never do that.

If electability is based on intelligence, character, family values (did I mention he's only been married once and never so much as cheated on his wife?), and hard work, then Mitt Romney has definitely proven himself to hold the number one position, in my book.

The only attribute that Romney seems to have is the ability to pander to whoever he needs to in order to be elected. He couldn't be Governor of MA without being pro-choice, so he was pro-choice. He couldn't be a viable candidate for the GOP unless he was pro-life, so now he's pro-life. What else will he waffle on if he becomes President? Changing your stance on this war is one thing, changing your mind about gays, guns and abortion in the space of a few months to pander is something else again.

we're not electing a President on notwithstanding if their puppy or horse has a pedigree and we could desire to constantly proceed to sell the thought that we've not have been given any class differences consequently no elite class. although the respond is not any, being rich does not verify they have "class" or the flexibility to run a rustic of which Romney does not have the two.

Surely, his famous three egg South Eastern omelett. No one should have to miss it, and it is a very good move, to have one fire ready for that one.
