I bought a car 6 months ago w/a downpayment of $2500 w/a check. The dealership says they have their money already but the money has not been taken out of the bank still. I talked to the dealership a couple months ago and they said they cashed it already. What is going on and what do i do?

My understanding was that the consequences of lying under oath would be severe, apparently I am wrong again. I know I am wrong, because nobody is calling Alberto Gonzales a "LIAR", even though it is apparent that he is lying to Congress.

Why do we still need to practice discrimination in our society today? If civil rights leaders took a stand to denounce any form of racism, favortism and "getting even for past sins", wouldn't that bring people together and help heal wounds? By promoting class envy, reverse racsim and selective "hate", these leaders lose their credibility to everyone excpet those who exploit the poor and minorities for persoanl gain.

http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_News/2007/07/27/effort_to_revive_immigration_reform/1270/

The senior Republican on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee is trying to breath new life into immigration reform.

Sen. Arlen Spector, R-Pa., says he is close to presenting a new legislative reform package designed to win over senators who voted down last spring's compromise measure, The Hill reported Friday.

Spector says his bill omits "Z-visas," a main sticking point in the failed legislation that conservatives viewed as granting blanket amnesty to illegals.

The nation's 12 million illegal immigrants would no longer be considered fugitives of justice, which would be the only change in their status, Spector said.

Spector said he is meeting with groups from both sides of the immigration debate.

"I'm ready to unveil it now," Spector said of his new bill. "I've got letters to the 100 senators on my desk."

What do you think? Do you know about this?

This is a clear case of the state interfering in the personal lives of these pharmacists, and say that they MUST defy their moral standards. It has always been the accepted norm in a free society that an establishment has the right to refuse service (except in the case of blatant discrimination).

Where are the people on the "pro-choice" side who decry "government involvement"? Is their objection only in the case where abortion is restricted?

I am seriously let down. I never meant to offend anyone. I just found out about this 9/11 truth, and yes it upset me. These individual have made valid points and do present a good case for themselves. If there was some frame of time that they did answer these questions with factual information I was unaware and don’t understand why the individuals who attacked me with such ferocity, couldn’t just educate me on these facts. And Lady Shondra "troll"? I am not seeking attention. I was just made aware recently of such allegations and was honestly looking for genuine answers in which I feel all people own and have the right to exercise. If offense is the only seed that was born out of this than I apologize. But again my intensions were only to be informed never to be attacked and instantly labeled and categorized as a nutjob, and quite frankly it makes me wonder that if anyone ever voices a concern about they’re government than this how they will be treated? Dont you feel its our duty2ask?

I have some problems with socialized medicine, or universal healthcare, whatever it's called today, and I would like someone to help assuage my concerns. And maybe I'll consider voting for a candidate that supports it.
1. Socialized medicine has been billed as "free health care for all" (at least by Michael Moore). I believe that "there is no such thing as a free lunch" and "you get what you pay for". Someone's going to pay for it, and I already don't like paying taxes towards abused social programs; so how can this program happen without a massive tax increase?
2. The gov't is involved in education, social security, transportation, and none of those systems are considered successful. What about S.M. makes anyone think this will work?
3. Liberals hate George Bush, conservatives hate Hillary Clinton. I don't like the idea of Hillary being in charge of my health care, just as I'm sure libs don't want President Bush in the same position. What is the answer to that?

The answer is they dont. They work and most of the males work under fictitous names and make THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY AS EVERYONE ELSE. And they get to drive around in brand new vehicles and listen to freakin iPods. All because they recieve this assistance.
Its not fair that a friend of mine can barely support herself and her 2 grandkids and doesnt recieve any kind of assistance. And she's a VET.
If they want to come here then they can just work as hard as everyone else has to and support themselves.
Stop giving all the immigrants assistance and give it to the citizens that deserve it.
I dont want another dollar of the money I pay in Taxes<<<< to be given to anymore immigrants.
Thnk you for letting me rant.I needed to blow off some steam.I'm kinda stressed out BECAUSE I HAVE TO WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK TO SUPPORT MYSELF!!!!!

Yahoo seems to think so. One side is the approx 90% white animal rights activists demonstrating outside the courthouse while the approx 95% black crowd is asking for due process. I'm actually for both sides here. Yes, it is wrong to force dogs to fight and torture the losing animal, but it is also wrong to assume guilt before the case has been heard. Vick has a lot of explaining to do, and his reputatation may not recover from this. I like that the NFL is holding off on any suspensions until the case is resolved. What are your thoughts on how much race will play a role in this case.

When jet fuel merely ignites the fires--it doesn't make the fire itself anymore potent than any other fire. And we know sky scrapers completely ENGULFED in fire have been left to burn out by themselves--no magical melting of steel or pulverizing of concrete occurred.
