This is real but names are changed.
Sue works at a hospital. Her friend Karen thinks she is pregnant. Sue buys a test at the drugstore and helps Karen with it - in Karen's home. Result is negative. Karen administers another test herself at home, shows it to Sue who through her experience determines test is damaged and cannot be read. Karen insists its positive. Karen later goes to Sue's workplace for another test. Sue does not see results from her workplace.
Over 6 months later, Karen & Sue get into a fight. Next day Karen goes to Sue's employer and claims Sue violated HIPPA privacy regulations & must have viewed her personal medical records at the hospital.
Obviously, the employer is now in the middle but must investigate the allegations to comply with the laws.
What do you make of this? Who would you side with if you were the employer? Would you consider timing (over 6mos) and day after a personal argument amongst former friends?

Some people in Yahoo Answers have floated the idea of amending the constitution so that Arnold Schwarzennegger could run for president. Currently, as someone born in a foreign country (Austria) he can't. Woud you still support doing so if Arnold was a Muslim?

Anybody with some knowledge about pitbulls or any other game animal will know that these animals can not be forced to fight.

You can not force a pitbull or any other animal to fight. They need to have it in their blood. Same with roosters, you can not even keep them together after certain age.

instead of wasting it on a political campaign, would you check yes?

That's assuming you could look up the agencies' budget on the net and know they were accountable for spending.

Richardson can get the usual Blue states, like NY, CA, etc, and carry the west, without even having FL, OH, or PA and win the election by a few electoral votes.

I am a Republican and I hate Bush, but please, he is not smart enough to have cooked up such a plot. Give me a break, Mooreheads, you are as bad as O'Reilly fans.

We have a president, by his own admission, doing warrantless wiretaps. We have a president who has issued an executive order to cover up the facts of Pat Tillman's death. That same president, lied to us and the world about Iraq.

If anyone can continue to side with and support our criminal president, they are the conspirators, not me.
President John Kennedy was the first to warn us of people trying to take over our way of life. He used the word conspiracy. JFK was a great man and a great President. I would much sooner trust him than this criminal we have now.

The ones wearing the tinfoil hats are the neocons and Bush supporters! Come on, folks, it's all over the media, in the newspapers and on the internet. Take it off your hats so the truth can get into your head!

What I mean is that I was raised if you break the law you should be punished and I used to think Ill of people who did drugs and was glad when they went behind bars. Then I went to college and realized that my parents were wrong.

An example is the thing that happened in CONN. Our prisons are so over crowded with a lot of inmates (especially females) put in there on drug offenses. This forces parole boards to let some people out early and stuff like this happens.

We had to do interviews for my criminal justice class. And one of the people was a girl and her parents were kind of wealthly and once a month they would have a herione party. They would send the daughter to a grandparents house and have the party. Well the feds busted it one time and sent both parents to jail. The grandparents soon died and the girl got sent to a foster home and was sexually abused there. Was this worth it? Because the parents did a drug one weekend a month to ruin a whole family?

I would say yes. I have long believed that people that subscribe to outrageous conspiracy theories are suffering from some kind of serious self-esteem issues.

By believing that they know "the truth" they can empower themselves in some way and make themselves feel as if they are smarter.

It is terribly sad, and I really think that if you believe in 9-11 type conspiracy theories you should consider why it is exactly that you would espouse something so outrageous.

From both sides of the aisle. If the act doesn't hurt anybody else why make a law against it? Im a conservative and that would include gay marriage. And if I don't want to wear a helmet when I ride that should be up to me etc. There are way to many laws that interfere with personal choice. And neither liberal nor conservative is free from guilt on this. What do you think?

Flight 93 was intended to crash into WTC 7. That tower, like the two towers that fell was set with demolition charges to bring the tower after it was hit. When the tower was not hit, those responsible for the attacks couldn't just remove the charges given the heightened scrutiny around the site. So they decided to "pull" the tower.

This is just my own conjecture. I'm not interested in proving it. I'm not even asking anyone to believe it (heck! I don't know the truth of anything that happened, myself). So those of you who tend to get angry when the "official conspiracy theory" is challenged, don't get all upset. I just want to know if this explanation has been considered anywhere else.

Thanks!
