Is it fair for the fundie right to go on and on about Chavez when they have their own minidictator Bush in office. With the illegal war in Iraq, patriot act, supression of dissent (scooters big pardon) whats the big difference? There a plenty of little bush worker bees running about deleting questions on Yanswer. Plenty of supressing information like the plane loads of severely wounded troops landing in Germany daily.

barack obama is half white. why does everybody act like he is just pure black, when he is not. i think its offensive to 'predominately' black people like me. why do people act like he is just black when he's not???
now, ya'll know it will cause a lot of controversy if he just said that he is white. i just want to know some opinions.

Are most people middle class or well to do or poor?

What would be a typical percentage breakdown of how many are poor, rich, and mid class in a typical third world country? Why do they remain third world? who wants them to or stands to benefit from it?

Prohibition is keeping drug prices high therefore suitable for illegal trafficking. Our laws have created the monsters of gang violence, maffia violence, and funds terrorism everywhere (especially Afghanistan) Why the hell are we doing it, is it a job creation program for jailers, police, lawyers etc?

We all know its illegal to talk on our cell phones while driving. But why is it everyday I see our local police officers on their cell phones just chatting away? Is this legal? I feel if these men and women have the right to cite us with heavy fines, they also should be fined.

if a child lives in ohio during the school year with one parent, and the summers out of state with the other parent, does the out of state parent have to change their address with the courts if they move from one state to another(other than ohio)? Can the out of state parent still exercise their right to spend the summers with the child? If the out of state parent doesn't get their allotted time what can be done? links and sources will be very helpful, thank you

I'm looking to become involved in law enforcement as soon as I graduate college. However, I'm not sure of all the differences between the different classifications... I know Sheriffs involve arrest warrants and State Police are probably involved with more highway patrol... Anyway, any advice from current police or law enforcement officials would be helpful. Some people say Global Warming is something just made up by some people. Who would benefit from creating such a "rumor?" It is just amazing that people still believe Global Warming is just fiction? USA is the only country who is not willing to collaborate to stop global warming? Why is it?
People can be stupid sometime. Oil companies don't want people to believe in global warming because they just want to make money.

According to some scientist, not later than half a century from now, we may be able to see some drastic weather changes. Some people deny the holocaust, some people will surely deny global warming. Just remember less than 15 years ago when scientist said that that fact that nicotine was addictive was just fiction. Now we can see that cigarettes alone kill more people than alcohol, car accidents and gun related dead all combined. It was just fiction some years ago?

Do you think Americans are too media-driven people? And that global warming is just fiction?

I work for a furnishing company. Our pay is nothing special. It's salary and we all work 50 hours a week. My district manager told my co-worker if he wants to keep his job he better remove his application from Career Builder. My co-worker is a hard worker and gets payed a lot less than he deserves. I told him to call corporate. What should he do? Is this illegal?

I heard that a couple of years ago, the voters in California voted during an election to allow medical doctors to prescribe pot to patients that had certain types of pain induced medical problems. It passed, but the federal government then told the doctors that anyone who writes a prescription for pot for a patient, for any reason and they would revoke his medical license. California doctors were afraid to lose their licenses, so they didn't do it.

The voters in Arizona also put this on the ballots and they voted for it, but when it passed, the federal government also told the State of Arizona that if medical doctors wrote prescriptions for their patients they would cut off all federal funding for highways, the State of Arizona said fine and to this day, medical doctors in the State of Arizona can and do write prescriptions for their patients to use medicinal pot to deal with their pain.

Is this true?
And if it is true, can you please clarify it for me?
