HRC "promised delegates to the nation's oldest civil rights organization that she would help make sure issues of importance to the black community regain the national spotlight". That would be free housing, free foodstamps, free health care, free abortion, and, of course, affirmative action.

OF COURSE without the black vote dems would be finished...

According to some reports Al Qaeda is stronger then ever
and our government has been claiming that all the terriorists are in iraq

therefore my question is if its true then what progress have we made in iraq in over 4 yrs ( if Al qaeda is stronger then ever)

The only progress that i can see is that in the past a roadside bomb use to kill 30 people now it kills 100
and other progress that i have seen is we are loosing our brave ( American) soldiers faster then ever

I'm planning on majoring in Journalism, and I have been thinking about choosing a minor in either English or Writing.

Well, first of all, I would like to know if choosing a minor is a good idea (do a lot of people do it?); secondly, I would like to know what would be better: English or Writing; and finally I would like to know if there would be a significant more amount of work?

You should also know that I would like to write for newspapers as a living.

Thanks,

Dennis Radar

He denies global warming and thinks Bush is doing the right thing in Iraq. President Nixon and his aides viewed Thompson as "not too bright". Will republicans elect another moron in their primary?

Why is it legal for one person to hold multiple public offices? For example, recently indicted former Newark, NJ mayor Sharpe James was the mayor of Newark at the same time was a State Senator too.

What are the policies regarding this in other states?

Thank you for any answers.

I was just informed by my insurance company that I was at fault in an accident even though I actually wasn't. Basically, we both changed into the same lane at nearly the same time. I merged first then he came in a second later scraping his car against mine. At worst this case should be 50-50 but since I merged in first and was more established I think the blame should go to the other guy.
I then received a call from my agent who said the other guy claimed he was in the same lane the whole time and I simply hit him. Based on his story my insurance company determined it was my fault.
My question is how can i challenge this? How can someone sitting in an office a thousand miles away make two phone calls and determine who was at fault? The guy that hit me lied and my insurance company chose to take his word over mine without any evidence. Is there anything I can do?

thanks

Britain is backing off the Middle East conflict. Iran is sitting back smiling saying they will do whatever they want. The economy is flip flopping between interest rates and housing. Baby boomers are retiring. What have we done to ourselves and where do we go from here?

I think Al Gore would make a great leader. He can get us out of this mess that we're in and he has more power than anyone else in the world, he has the power to lower down global warming.

I'm beginning to think that it's related to the fact that every Republican scandal involves homosexual sex and perhaps they just hated Clinton for being one of the enemies -- a heterosexual.

I just read a story about Republican Florida state rep. Robert Allen who was arrested Wednesday and charged with soliciting an undercover male officer for sex at a park in Florida.

Of course, we all know about the Mark Foley scandal and we have yet to learn all there is to know about the Jeff Gannon scandal; and we've all pretty much forgotten the Reagan/Bush homosexual scandal and the Franklin sex scandal. But why is it that everytime I hear about a Republican sex scandal, it is a homosexual scandal?

My friend purchased Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. Since then, the disc has gotten scratched and will no longer play in the Wii.

Is it legal to use BitTorrent or any other P2P service to download/burn the game again and destroy the original hard copy? (I understand that if you do not own the game, it is illegal, but my friend already purchased the game at the full retail price.)

One of Bush's main justifications for the Iraq War was that al Qaeda and Iraq were linked. Well, they weren't before, but they are now:

"Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia did not exist before the Sept. 11 attacks. The Sunni group thrived as a magnet for recruiting and a force for violence largely because of the American invasion of Iraq"

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/13/world/middleeast/13qaeda.html?th&emc=th

Clearly Bush's claims about links between al Qaeda and Iraq were self-fulfilling prophecies. This got me thinking - is it possible that Bush isn't a liar, but merely that he can see into the future, but can't discern the future from the present? That would explain why he's always said that al Qaeda and Iraq were linked!

I have a idea, its a idea based in reality not Bullsh!t,

think about it and let me know what you think,

If we used the us military to guard the boarders, using about half of the forces that are deployed in Iraq (once the farceful conflict is over) to do the job,

Applying the same amount of cash to fund the operations, and giving every unit a rotation schedule to be deployed there at least once a year,

giving orders to prevent illegal entry in to the country at all cost up to and including authorized force(this is common by the way before someone goes all "but they are people too")

why wouldnt this work better than what is being done, (catch and release, catch and deport, or just dont catch at all)

please dont think that I am against immigration, Im not, There is a right way to do things, and I can see no clear reason why they shouldnt be done that way,

hey its just an Idea(and I mean all boarders Not just the southern one)

Isn't this a key benchmark of the Bush administration? Has there ever been a greater failure in American war policy (besides maybe Vietnam, Korea....)?

I recently heard about a sex offender that must serve 375 years in prison. How is this possible? It seems to be a waste of time to decide how long the person will be in prison. The person will probably live to 100 if lucky. Do they make it that long just for assurance that he will not outlive his sentence?

I am sorry if you cannot understand my order of sentences. I speak English as a second language.

The Bush Administration and Republicans are pushing to send more troops to Iraq, but how many of them have kids, spouses, friends, etc. fighting their war?! NONE!!! Their families are home for the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and any other celebration. Why send any of them to be killed when they can send other peoples' families instead? I would LOVE for someone to ask Bush this question during one of his addresses! (Of course, he'll just ignore it and try to move on, as he's done in the past.)
