If they've been proven to have had any involvement with acts of terror or plans thereof, I wouldn't have any problem giving them the death penalty.

Those who have no respect for life don't deserve the life they were given.

I'm not sure about the death penalty, because if it was meant to be a deterrent in the past then why were people still hanged? For me, a life sentence would be a better punishment. I personally would prefer a death sentence to a life sentence: the horror of living through a life sentence would be too much to bear. The main problem I have is with home-grown terrorists. They are traitors to their own country. If this happend during war time, then they WOULD be hanged.

I don't think I'd want to see death at all, even if I felt that person deserved it, but I certainly don't think they deserve life in a country club prison using my £ and $ to keep them alive and living. I really think that they should all meet somewhere and drink some of George Jones' Kool-Aid and rid themselves rather than taking innocents. If they don't like life or the world around them, they are free to go. Alternatively, they could take all that money the spend on weapons and transportation and build a rocket ship for themselves and move to another galaxy. They can afford the gasoline!

Death is too swift an exit for people with no respect for human life !
They need time to suffer , no privileges , boring monotony , time to think about the suffering they've caused !
That would be a lasting punishment that may serve as a deterrent & they then can't claim martyr status !

Jesus, yes, it's so tempting. But then, think of the ACKNOWLEGED miscarriages of Justice. The Birmingham Six, etc. etc.... Then consider that "Terrorists" can be convicted on the basis of "evidence" from the Security and Intelligence Services. Then think "Dodgy Dossier" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction". Would YOU, PERSONALLY hang anyone on the word of Tony Blair?

I think they should be handed over to the families of the victims. The whole legal system is run with the rights of the criminal as the base line. I think it's about time the baseline was moved and let's hear about the rights of the victims

i don't know if hanging is the right thing to do, but they should lock them up for the rest of there life's,then put them into a bad British jail, let the inmates get them, then they will wish they were dead, keep safe all the best

Hanging is way too good for the Islamofascist animals that are committing terrorism now.

Feed them pigs blood, wrap them up in pigs skin, off them slowly and painfully, then bury them in a mountain of dead pigs.

If I offended any Pigs with this post forgive me.

Hanging is a bit harsh. I'd rather they served a third of their sentence, with good behaviour, and was then released and put on a tagging system. After all it works for all the other UK prisoners, doesnt it?

the law is an ***! i agree, thieves should have their hands cut off and muderers should be hung and terrorists should have the electric chair, rapists should have there privates removed and jails should change for other criminals. nowadays jails are the latest holiday camps, criminals in jail have pocket money, tv, computers, education courses, 3 course meals, cigs and the rest! the whole goverments too soft and something needs to be done!
