Well Bush did finally acknowledge anthropogenic global warming in 2005. Score 1 for Bush over Thompson there.
Both are stupid about Iraq - no points awarded.
It's hard to believe that Thompson could possibly be dumber than Bush, but he's clearly a dim bulb. Republicans seem to go for that kind of candidate, so I guess he's got a real shot to win the GOP nomination!

Well I don't see him being much different than Bush or Romney for that matter. If you don't like Bush you probably won't like Thompson or Romney because they will be little different. If you are conservative and like freedom take a good look at Ron Paul, he is the best one in the field but he hasn't got much coverage, so check him out.

I think that Thompson could possess a marginally superior intellect to Herr Bush, but he is miles behind Bush in terms of cunning and mendacity.
If Thompson is the best that the Republicans have to offer, they are definitely in trouble in '08. Sad for Repubs, but true.

I think that Fred was just acting.
I would be afraid to add the IQ up of all the top 3-4 candidates running on both sides because we might find that the lot of them don't add up to a single true American.

Global warming, and "curbing it" is another way to get taxed and controlled. They are both dumb, but in different ways. Actually, I don't know much about Fred, but as an actor, that's pretty much where I stopped caring.

No one is dumber than George W. Bush in the political arena. No body, not even Fred Thompson, although he does seem to be pretty dumb.

Liberals always question the IQ of those they disagree with, or call them gay. The ulimate insult from the alleged party of diversity. Ironically after demanding Bush release his grades, liberals confident that it would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt Bush's low IQ, they were dimayed that not only was his GPA higher than John Kerry's, it was higher than Al Gores too. D ooH! When this back fired, they went back to calling him names again. Wow, clever.
Now is the time I guess to rachet up the rhetoric and name calling again on Republican canidates. Have liberlas got another game plan or play book? This one is sooo losing steam, and meaning.

Of course...if you think Global Warming exists, perhaps it is you that is dim. The earth goes through a natural cycle of heating and cooling. We are coming out of an ice age...and naturally that means the earth warms up. Eventually we will peak. Then everyone will be complaining of Global Cooling.
As for Fred.... how can he not be bright.
Elected as a politician
maneuvered himself into a prime time TV show.
Filthy Rich
All sounds pretty smart to me.
And yes we are doing the right thing in Iraq.... But if you had served your country in the military, you might have realized that.
Bye Bye Lefty.
