We know that the last election showed the how american voters were disgruntled about Iraq. Facts suggests that even more people are disgruntled now about Iraq..including some republicans. So the question is....how big of a landslide will the democrats get in this next election due to the GOPer's still tying themselves at the hip with the increasingly unpopular and isolated Bush?

Hasn't this been Al-Qaeda's strategy All along?

Knowing instead of doing what needs to be done they turn and run in an effort to save and keep their political powers.

I've been really considering joining the Airforce for a very long time.(SERE program) to be exact. But i've been really thinking about the Marine Corps lately. Everyone i talk to is telling my to join the airforce, even my brother who is a Marine. He says he wouldnt change being one ever, but he doesnt want me to join because of the war. I understand that if i join the Marines that i "Will" go to Iraq. Its that I'm scared of dieing, because i'm not, its just leaving my family and friends behind if i die, is what bothers me. Even knowing this, still, everytime i think about the Marines i think about, Honor,Pride, and being able to belong to such a great thing as the Marine Corps, Sure the comercials are to make you want to join, but everytime i see anything that has to do with the Marines, I get a feeling deep inside, its really weird. Almost like something is telling me to join, I just think about how good it would feel knowing that I'm a Marine. Please leave comments...Thanks, Matt

Ethics seem to be a problem. Economics are no longer their forte if it ever was and foreign policy seems to be a fiasco.

I guess that means they are going to stick to fear factor.

Well, Republicans, Just what are you running on?

One reason I am asking is that I know for a fact that they spend money on giving every convict in prison a basket on Christmas. I just wonder how many more of their donations are abused...I am sure people would think twice if they knew some of the money was going to murderers and pedophiles.

I'm no brain surgeon, but whenever I watch this show, it frightens me that people can be THAT stupid.

Then I watch one of Bush's press conferences and I get REALLY scared.

I'd be willing to pay $1000 (and I'm just a poor civil service worker) to see Georgie match wits with a pack of grade school kids.

My friends account was terminated from Yahoo answers. He repeatedly wrote to Yahoo to ask specifically what he had done and was told that it was confidential. If you commit a crime you are entitled to know specifically what you did. I always thought that in America, our constitution provides us with the right of freedom of speech and if we violate a law at least the courtesy of knowing what we did. What is your opinion on Yahoo's actions?

To report conservatives and try to get their account terminated.
I think it is. Proof that they can't take an exchange of ideas that don't agree with their own.

Illegal wiretapping and the U.S. attorneys scandal are two very strong cases to base an impeachment on. Is it time to impeach or should we wait it out?

GOP trolls need not respond. Who's listening to you anyway? Apparantly not 74% of the nation.

Feminism has pretty much neutered men in the USA. Men are so repressed about their sexuality.
If you go to Europe, Asia, South America, men wear speedos. The American culture considers a man showing his manhood as offensive as other cultures consider a woman not wearing a veil.
If you go to beaches and pools in most Arab countries, you’ll see the men playing the water in speedos while the women are in the water all covered from head to their ankles. Sometimes, the women simply dip their feet in the water. Americans love to criticize things like these, but Americans aren’t that much different.
In the USA, women are encouraged to wear bikinis, show their body, and be happy with their femininity. Yet, men have to wear big long surfer trunks, the longer the better, they should cover theirs knees. This season, swim shirts came around. So now, you see men with long short and swim shirts in beaches, pools while women don’t wear much.

Why do Americans see manhood as something offensive?

We went to an Ob/Gyn who did an annual exam and now the insurance company won't pay for the visit and says the doctor billed everything wrong. The doctor says take it up with the insurance company. The insurance company says take it up with the doctors office. And we just keep getting bills for $2000 for an annual exam! What do we do? We can't afford that at all. We are just students. Is there someone out there that can help fix this? Is there a service like the Better Business Bureau for medical practices?

Okay. So I bought a steam iron (SUPER STEAM by Euro, made in italy) at a mall last year. I never needed the iron until today, so I used it. The iron got really hot, hot steams and water leaked and burnt my hand pretty bad. From what I remember, I paid $39.99 plus tax for this. I recently posted a question about this, and someone gave me a link to this site [http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/wirral/press%20-%20super%20steam%20iron.htm] which the UK government describes how the iron isn't safe and so we should immediately stop using it. (I'm in US by the way).

I finally found the original site for this iron [http://www.supersteamiron.com/index.html] and told them my issue through email, but I think they're not taking responsible for this malfunctioning iron because I'm not getting ANY replies at all. (((I'll notify you guys when I do)))

Being the typical poor college student I am, $39.99 is ALOT of money for me, and I'd hate to waste it... :(

What can I do? Please help, please?
