I need to file a Criminal case in India over land/property matter. I am a PIO living in UK. Can someone preferably lawyers tell me the steps needed to be taken to file a criminal case? Also can I assign a power of attorney to someone there to file the suit and if need be, also attend hearings on my behalf? At what point would my physical presence be required in a criminal case?

The DC Voting Rights Act (HR 1905 and S 1257) would give DC one vote in the House of Representative and would give Utah one additional at large seat (Utah believes they lost a seat in redistricting because of how the Census counted Morman's doing missionary work) so that there would be 436 Members of Congress. After the 2010 Census, the total of Members of Congress would got back to 435, but DC would be apportioned one House seat and Utah would get what ever its population entitled it to.

DC would not have any voting rights in the Senate and would not be a state.

Unlike any other US territory or protectorate, residents of Washington, DC pay federal taxes. Guam, Puerto Rico, and the others do not pay federal income tax.

Washington, DC has about 581,530 residents. Wyoming has 515,004 residents.

I just saw a question asking if Clinton was such a bad prez, why was his apporoval rating so high, even after impeachment. You also hear liberals constantly justify retreat and surrender in Iraq because of the poll numbers. Chris Mathew can't make one single point without bringing up poll numbers. What do you think the poll numbers were in 1860 about freeing slaves? What about 1940 polls on women voting?

The fact is that the popularity of a position is completely different than the righteousness of a position. And NEVER should a war be fought by voters or even politicians. You might as well put a 6 year old in charge. Why can't liberals understand this?

so background information....im a girl and im 18, just graduated from high school and i have never given the army any thought whatsoever...in fact i have always been completely apposed to joining. recently, (and im not sure if its just because of the stress of not being in high school anymore and having my future ahead of me) i have been thinking that maybe the army is right for me. there are some problems though. for starters my parents are completely against me joining the armed forces, not because they dont like the army or anything but they dont want to see me get hurt or leave, etc. secondly, i have clinical depression and have been on anti-depressants for years now, am i even elegible to enlist? i dont know what i should do and i need some feedback from soldiers or people who kind of understand. please help!!

I have no problem that very few go hungry in America. In fact that is one of the things I love about our great nation. On the other hand, I am getting tired of seeing people with Lonestar Cards (food stamps in Texas) buy energy drinks or they have 5 tattoos. I am sick of capbale but lazy people stealing my tax dollars. I have no problem helping diabled people or shortly helping people who have just hit hard times. I think that people on food stamps and welfare should be given the bare minimum for life. No nice apartments that they can trash or buy junk food with food stamps. They should also have to work for the government. I don't care if they do absolutely pointless tasks as long as they are not sitting around stealing my money. Does anyone have other ideas to deal with welfare?

Let me start by identifying my belief....I have mostly conservative views but some liberal views as well. Prayer brought back into school is a huge issue with a lot of strong conservatives and my opinion is that it should never happen. If not for any other reason than that if you give christians organized public prayer, you must then give atheists, muslims, satanic cults and anyone else who wants it the time to do the same........what are your thoughts?

George Bush has used "signing statements" more than all of the other American Presidents.....combined.

Bush has used signing statements to " ignore more than 750 laws that have been enacted since he took office."

"Bush has appended statements to new laws when he signs them, noting which provisions he believes interfere with his powers."

"Among the laws Bush has challenged are the ban on torturing detainees, oversight provisions in the USA Patriot Act, and ``whistle-blower" protections for federal employees."

"Bush has challenged more laws than all previous presidents combined"

It was early August of 1964 and the presidential election was less than 3 months away.

Barry Goldwater was depicting LBJ as being "soft on Communism" and there was no way of knowing how persuasive this argument would be to the voters that November.

By "ginning up" a little military conflict and show-of-force, did LBJ assure his own election to the presidency in November of 1964?

Did Karl Rove and Dick Cheney follow this same scenario to assure a margin of victory in the presidential election of 2004?

Ok in your personal opinion which causes more problems Marijuana or drinking? I myself have never really heard about somebody who was High and had a big wreck killing loads of people like I have with alchol. I also want to know if your a cop do you smoke marjuana. I have always wondered if some cops take it away and keep it. Please answer. Just curious. :)
Also if someone has seven felonies and ran from the state (IL), then preceded to get in trouble in another state (CA) but got let go before they could ship him back to IL. Well this scumbag person ran to FL and finally got caught again by the cops (he was punching in his pregnant gfs window she went into labor shortly after and had the baby the same night he got arrested) and FL shipped him back to IL on one of those buses where he was chained up real good.
Do you think that he will be locked up for a good long time?
Will he get in trouble for running in the first place?
Sorry its so run on. Any replies welcome.

I specifically would like to find a number of ex military specials ops personnel who can describe to me mission strategy, prep, execution and provide background information surrounding the planning, training and execution of operations. I'd like to present a scenario and have them take me through exactly the same process that they would go through if they were still n the military and prepping for the op.
Thanks!
