What do you think about Mexicans?

They make good tacos and burritos. They are welcome to this country, legally. If they try to sneak in, then hunt them down and send them back home. If they get caught a second time, trying to sneak in, then send them to prison.

There is nothing wrong with Mexicans. I have been to Mexico more than once and the people have always been very friendly. However, there are always bad apples in every batch and those are the ones you see on the news and are at the debate. It just happens that most of the illegals are coming from Mexico. Most of them are decent people but they are here illegally and need to back home. If they want to come to the US, let them, but legally.

Seriously, I have no problem what so ever with Mexicans or any culture or race in this world. The people that I have a problem with are the people that come here illegally whether it be from Mexico, Canada, Cuba or were ever.

I do not dislike them in no way! We are all children of God and are loved by Him equally!!! I just get upset when they come over here illegally and we have to pay for everything such as(health care, etc...) I have known many that come here to the USA just to make money, send it back home and live off of the working American people who pay taxes! Insurance rates have increased, hospitalization has increased, and other things because those who come here illegally have no insurance or pay taxes alot of times and then we have to pick up the bill and it is just not fair! This goes for any race from a different country that comes here too! We cannot go to other countries and work and live there unless in some countries we marry someone from there or we are there for business reasons. Other countries have very strick rules you have to abide by! America is too easy on the illegal residents here and it needs to stop are we are headed for another civil war or maybe something worse! We cannot go into other countries without the proper shots and records and idetification. It needs to be the same way here. Look at all the illnesses that are starting to reappear that were almost obsolete (TB for one). Everyone is welcome here in the good ole USA if they will carry their own weight like everyone else and do it legally!!!

Well, they come into my place of work and say, "Speaka Spanish?"

Then I say, "No. Do you know how far NORTH you are? This ain't Los Angeles, Hozay" ... and they wander out the door, empty-handed because they can't function in modern American society unless you stick 'em in a field somewhere.

I mean, can't they learn just a dozen simple words or phrases in English? Jay-Zus. I'm assuming they're illegals, because how can you be here legally and not be able to speak English even a LITTLE BIT?

I got a "D" in college Spanish, and that was enough to get credit for the class, which is all I was interested in. If my employer wanted to actually pay me more to learn Spanish, like, two or three dollars an hour more, it might be worth it, but in the meantime, I have better things to do with my time.

Let's see, I think that Mexicans are humans, like you and I. They are looking for a better life for their families, like you and I. Is that not human nature???? Majority of the people in this world are doing what needs to be done to provide for their families. I know I have to feed my kids and give them a good living environment. Not so sure I could do that very well in a country with a govt as corupt as Mexico's! Can you blame them for flocking to the country that has a song w/ lyrics "land of the free" ???????????

I'm going to be real blunt and honest here in the hopes that people might realize what their behavior creates. I have met only a few that I have seen in a favorable light. 90% of my experiences with them have been negative. I face racism everyday(I live in a border state) because i'm white, I have been literally physically assaulted as has my 5 year old little boy. I was always polite and friendly yet I was met with hatred. I come here to these forums and face yet more hatred again because i'm white and again this hatred comes from mexicans threatening my child,insulting my race,telling me to leave my country or die and saying I will be conquered. I no longer act nice and polite and my feelings are pretty darn close to hatred towards them.

I keep my distance if possible. As a child most of my play friends were Mexican kids,they turn on you in a second for their own kind. It was painful but I learned a few things.I don't trust them at all.

I like individuals. I dont care what nationality, color, religion my friends are. If they are good people, I treat them like family.
Mexican culture is interesting to me and I love their food. But there is good and bad with every culture, and we just happen to be in the middle of something that is causing alot of tension. This tends to bring out the worst in people and the worst butholes.
Bethsmyname, I dont blame anyone for wanting better for themselves and their families. What I do blame them for is coming here demanding free stuff, and saying we should assimilate to their ways, burning and defiling our flag etc.
Also they need to do it legally.
