Ron Paul is a big supporter of our right to own firearms. Can he win? That's a good question. It doesn't look like it from the outset, but he has been creating a huge cross-party populist following lately.

He is a strict constitutionalist and a civil libertarian, which means he's really not at home in either party right now. He has my vote as long as he can last, I hope he gets elected.

Well .... that's a good question. I hope so. The anti gun people were responsible for 12 years of abuses. Ironically, starting with George HW Bush who resigned from the NRA when Wayne LePierre referred to some over-zealous ATF agents as "Jack-booted government thugs". Okay, the rhetoric was strong.

But George HW Bush was ambivalent to gun owners rights. Notice W is not ambivalent but supports gun rights. Why? Look at his daddy, the 1 term Bush.

Fast forward to 2008. Well after George HW Bush being soft, we got Clinton. Remember that gun ban?

Hey, lets put it this way. I support the rights of legitimate gun owners, I support the right to an abortion. I don't like Bush as the President of the US, but think he's funny anyway. I can't stand bleeding heart liberals who pretend to be with the people when they aint.

And as much as I cant stand DIck Cheney, I admire the guy. He came up through the ranks in business and later in government and man is he slick! Besides, cross him and he might accidentally shoot your face off.

Ron Paul is a strict constitutionalist. The 2nd amendment guarantees the right to bear arms. So Paul is pro gun.

Given the boobs running against him, I like his chances better every day.

We do have at least one candidate that has never voted against the second amendment and that is Dr. Ron Paul!

The Constitution says Americans have the right to bear arms, and Ron Paul is called a Constitutionalist because he alone of all the candidates promises to strictly follow the laws set down in the Constitution. And YES Ron Paul can win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
