What a belligerent question! I mean, what progress has bush made towards anything? Has he helped the poor. Has he helped anyone who is not rich, or a corporate whore? Has bush helped you? No bush trashed America, he murdered thousands of Americans on 911. He attacked a sovereign nation and murdered hundreds of thousands of Innocent people, for what? He has lied to the American people and committed murder, treason, and to many felonies to mention. If you think Clinton is responsible for any of that you are a terrorist and I pity you. Clinton gave bush this country with a balanced budget and a happy society. Life was good with Clinton, citizens were productive and prosperity was everywhere. But when bush stole the office of president with the help of daddy and Debold, things started becoming evil. Since then America under the arm of the bush cheney neocon cabal have destroyed everything we stood for, and it's illiterate neocon fools like you that continue to destroy this country. Why don't you name one thing , just one good thing the bastard bush has done for this country. You can't, because he has done nothing but the devils work on America, fools like you continue to destroy my country and you with your disinformation continue it, why don't people like you tell us what bush's progress is? Name one thing smart fool! I THOUGHT NOT. No you don't have to worry about the Democrats destroying anything, the damage is done. The Democrats running for president have been bought and paid for by the bush cheney cabal, it doesn't matter who wins, America is finished, and so are you!

Which Clinton mess?
Last time I checked, the country was going through an incredible level of prosperity through a large part of Clinton's presidency.
I don't remember too many people complaining about their personal freedoms, wars and gas prices.
What they were complaining about is Clinton getting a BJ and lying about it. Oh noes! We're all going to hell.

I'm sure if I wanted to spend the time I could point out plenty of well educated people who've written books saying the complete opposite.
As with historical "facts" and even statistics, there are plenty of well educated people who disagree on "facts." Global warming being one of those. I could probably find books written by people who've gone to better schools and have better credentials that most and they may disagree on Global warming.
Please realize that your facts are your opinion. You are of course entitled to it just as much as anybody else on the board.
The point about the "Clinton prosperity" wasn't the how it happened. It was that people had money and felt good about the country. Ultimately the how we got to that point is answered with a "so what."

Please people! Just because Bush isn't the most popular president to live in the White House doesn't mean he hasn't made progress. Bush handled 9/11 very well, and please don't tell me he didn't because my father flew United Airlines that day. No, but I will say if the Democrats win, D.C. will finally get representation.

Bush cut taxes and the economy is soaring while tax revenue is so high that the budget deficit is rapidly shrinking.

You mean Clinton's leaving office with a budget surplus?
Or, Clinton's leaving office with America and Americans held in high esteem around the world?
Bush has cleaned up both of those 'messes' with his runaway 'war' spending and by tarnishing America's reputation as a global peacekeeper and world leader.
