I am afraid that US security is not good enough to prevent a Nuclear holocaust from happening on US soil. Who thinks this will happen, and how do you think it will happen? How soon do you think it will happen? Who or what country do you think will be responsible? This is a question that a lot of Americans prepare themselves everyday for. What is your insight?

people think that cctv is the most obvious form of surveillance. Well, they're probably right, apart from an officer peering at you and saying "now then now then, whats all this then?". But surely the common domestic television would be the best form of surveillance? Every person in the country (almost) has one and spends a long time watching it. If the Secret Intelligence can use fibre optic surveillance on computers for remote viewing, can't they do the same with a TV? Sort of like a trinted window or mirror?

The last question I asked some guy said "I have been a blah blah for over 15 years, how long have you blah blah..."

Why are we expected to waste our time and resources based upon the fact Abu Al Gore or some other eco terrorist says its true. That is an appeal to authority.

The fact that 99.99999 % of the scientists say its true? Well, then it must be! How often has science been wrong? Come on... the truth is, we have NO idea what's going on... These guys are just grasping at straws.

Would countries even take her?

If such a clause was added to the amnesty bill, I MIGHT have second thoughts about it.

*Sorry for the constant Paris questions in the POLITICS forum. This whole situation just has me FUMING! It's not the fact that she is a celebrity and its certainly not jealousy. I just find it difficult to comprehend that one's fame and fortune can totally manipulate the justice system.

I have information about at least five drug users and who their dealer is, where they can be found etc. Normally, I would look the other way or call it right in. However, the problem is it is my husband's family and they are using around my underage step kids. I know the police would find drugs. I even know where to tell them to look. It upsets me that they use around my step kids and even my son once. I'm at my wits end. What should I do?

Not only are they begging Rosie O'Grosso to come on board but NBC Universal will devote a whopping 75 hours of air time to showing Al Gore's "Live Earth: The Concerts for a Climate in Crisis." And if Gore decides to run for president in 2008, (not so much if, but when he will announce) the event would be "one of the largest ever, if not the largest, in-kind contributions to a presidential campaign," This according to The Media Research Center's NewsBusters.org.

We will always be in reactive mode, unless we will prevent issues from occurring period.

Death sentence vs. life in prison, how about preventing crime? Preventing accidental teenage pregnancy?

Why do politicians spend so much time on after fact issues? Because it is easier to put a Band-Aid than cure disease?

What are odds of them passing if the american people(the voters) actually were allowed to vote on these immigration bills instead of just the President,Congress etc? Whould'nt it not pass at the polls?
Why are'nt we allowed to vote on this anyway? I thought we lived in a democracy? Surely if this issue went before the voters it would'nt pass would it?

is just me or more and more people more angry about this issue on the illegal immigration bill here daily? Do our leaders in Washington even read boards like these to see how the average american citizens feels about all this.
Somehow I rather doubt their read our feelings of anger here. They would rather cater to the illegals than listen to the taxpayers(their employers) who elected them in the first place.

Why are bosses allows to dare mess with workers relationships without theirs being attacked in retaliation

Ie if Im in love and coupled with somone at work and a boss dares to threaten to sack, disciplin or in any way bully or attack us.

Should we not have the right to strike at his family on a see how you like it babsis or somehow break up their realtioship and force a divorce?

As long as doing the job (ie if fixing cars we fix cars even if you get the odd kiss or hug along the way).

what does it matter if you are in love.

As for your at work to work.

Most of your life will be at work and often the only people you have stuff in common with, get to know, and hang out with so therfore most likely to form relationships with.

A lot harder to chat someone up at a club.

Especailly with long hours and little time or money to go out to meet people. friends of friends does not work. its just the same friends.

So if your love is taken away why not attack

When they should be saying "Impeach the Terrorist leaders. Not one more death!"?

Or Impeach the terrorist who torture!

Or Impeach the Islamic leader who commands the torturer or terrorist to go out & get the enemies of Islam/Allah.
