Why do people want to tie someone to the whipping post because they use their voice to stand up for a good and just cause. The truth is if he was a pauper or even slightly wealthy no one would listen to this very important issue he is talking about. Case in point...Bono put his millions in to a tax shelter but does that make him any less valuable to the world. He and Al Gore could be sipping on a cool drink, watching the world go by somewhere in the south of France but they choose to waste their time on just causes...go figure

I think he is wrong, but there are bigger hypocrites, what about George f*****g Bush for a start. US should take some responsibility, eg not buying cheap stuff from China and India until they take some responsibility too.

Al Gore is a nut-job. There may be some warming but it's not caused by humans. C'mon people, it's the commies' way of making people fear something because they want BIG government. Scientists will say anything if they get paid enough.

You are absolutely right....he is a tool......
we need to be self sustainable because there are too many demands on the limited natural resources. If we are too dependent on foreign sources then we are vulnerable....
The entire world is going to want these same resources...
China and India are growing exponentially... they are world players now...kicker is we send/ outsource our job and our money to them...
