"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Only 40 percent of Marines and 55 percent of U.S. Army soldiers deployed in
Iraq say they would report a fellow serviceman for killing or injuring an innocent Iraqi, a
Pentagon report released on Friday shows."

...and we are the good guys... um, why?

Its so obvious all they care about is winning in 2008 rather than solving the problems facing this nation and getting something done for the America people. Come 2008 we will look back and it will be plain as day what the deomcrats did and why, yet again, they shouldn't be allowed back into the White House.

Thank you! And may God continue to bless these United States!!!

In the western world, only one newspaper reports the suicide of the woman who accused George W Bush of rape

by Simon Aronowitz

Saturday 13th December 2003

Despite the enormity of the story, a virtual news blackout has remained in place since Margie Schoedinger first filed charges against George W Bush in 2002. Schoedinger had accused Bush of rape and other sexual crimes against both her and her husband, only one publication in the USA saw fit to print anything about her or her allegations. That publication was her local newspaper.

Her subsequent suicide earlier this year raised many eyebrows amongst those who learned of her death via the internet. Even though the sequence of events was bizarre, again the American media ignored Schoedinger completely.

However, the US press were not alone. Both the (London) Times newspaper and the BBC as well as other major news organisations in the UK were furnished with the story and sources for the original court filings. ..."

You have McCain and Guiliani trying to equate themselves to Reagan and being a real conservative. McCain had the gall to think we were too stupid to remember he was behind the Gang of 14, yet he will appoint originalist judges. You have Guiliani who is liberal on abortion, amongst many issues.

It seems that there is the liberal/pandering wing that these two are part of, along with Huckabee, Brownback, Thompson.

Did you notice this? What are other examples that you noted? Is this the showdown as to why the base is so fed up?

I saw a lot of not enforcing the borders, not for real tax reform (though Tancredo, Gilmore, and Hunter were on with the Fair Tax).

Do these candidates not understand what the base really wants?

No silly Constitution to get in the way of things?

Bush elected President for life?

Freedoms and liberties restricted to party loyalties only?

State-controlled restrictions on the media and the internet?

National ID cards and personal papers for each person?

Women having no rights whatsoever?

Rigged elections without the need for a recount or court challenge?

Wiretapping of all US citizens without warrants?

Zero gun control laws?

A para-military government?

No healthcare or any other social programs?

"I will veto any legislation that weakens current federal policies and laws on abortion, or that encourages the destruction of human life at any stage," he wrote.

The destruction of human life at any stage?!?

The man is insane.

He's responsible for more destruction of human life than any other person currently alive!

I don't understand Republicans...you want to save fetuses at all cost, but once the fetus grows into an adult, you won't lose any sleep for killing tens of thousands of them.

It makes no logical sense. Babies = don't kill. adults = kill all day, every day.

Where is the separation of church and state if government tries to do the job of religion?

The Church does it far better, the government is about as religious as a weapons dealer.

This is where you vote for your candidate, and then list the others in order you'd like your vote to go. The candidates with the lowest number of votes get there votes shifted to the others listed by the voter.

Let's say I voted for Ross Perot in 1992, but put Bush Sr. second and Clinton Third. After voting is over, Perot is third in votes, so my vote automatically goes to Bush.

I rather like this idea. On the one hand, Bush Sr likely would have won over Clinton, but on the other hand Gore likely would have won over Bush Jr. Either way, I think this is closer to the real will of the people. What do you think?

Hours after 9/11 attacks, Rumsfeld allegedly said, 'My interest is to hit Saddam' According to NBC's chief Pentagon correspondent, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said that his "interest is to hit Saddam Hussein" just hours after the attacks on September 11, 2001, "even though all indications pointed at al-Qaida as the guilty party," a Rhode Island newspaper NBC's Jim Miklaszewski "advanced a theme garnering attention since former CIA director George J. Tenet made his public revelations last week," writes Tom Mooney for the Providence Journal.

"Some things are right on the mark, when he says the Bush administration appeared predisposed to attack Iraq," Miklaszewski says of Tenet's book .Miklaszewski said, then-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld vowing to avenge the terrorist attacks by voicing frustration that attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in 1983 and the attack on the Cole, in 2000, had gone unavenged.

The Democrats have been sending the President bills funding the troops as he requested and attaching a pull out date from Iraq trying to force him to flip flop on his decsion to stick to the war on Terrorism. The Democrats are on a one way course of defeat and are unable to back off since they are so heavily invested in it and hatred of President Bush.
