The Democrats have been sending the President bills funding the troops as he requested and attaching a pull out date from Iraq trying to force him to flip flop on his decsion to stick to the war on Terrorism. The Democrats are on a one way course of defeat and are unable to back off since they are so heavily invested in it and hatred of President Bush.

I don't know about "America", but the majority of the US Troops don't want to surrender and withdraw.

There is no "cut and run" policy. That is a made-up saying perpetrated by the Bushies and the loud-mouth noises on "talk" radio.

Some people use that phrase because they don't want to face the truth; Bushie and the Boys lied, used deceit, made up stories and situations so they could invade a soverign nation and take control of the oilfield.

Now that Iraq is in ruins, infrastructure gone, almost a million dead, coupla million refugees, over 3000 Americans dead, thousands more crippled or permanently maimed, they want to try and blame the anti-war people for the situation that will exist when we leave. It matters not whether we leave now, next year or ten years from now....further death and destruction will be visited upon the Iraqi people and the middle-East tribes will war against one another for control of the country.

Personallly, I don't give a dam what you call it....we need to put an end to this madness now and bring our young people home.

"It depends on what the meaning of the words 'Cut and Run' is" - to borrow a line from someone ;)

Maybe if 'cut and run' means fund the troops, set dead-lines to be met and start removal of troops if dead-lines are not met.
Pretty moderate stand, really.

Probably not if 'cut and run' means not funding, dropping all gear and running south-eastish (Saudi Arabia/Kuwait).

Let me see, we have "Cut and Run", "flip flop", "war on terrorism" and "hatred of President Bush".

Could you be any more transparent?
