or lazy to step up and fight for their country anymore? Do you also believe if we are too lazy to deport them ourselves that we get what we deserve??

The government of the US is "WE THE PEOPLE" I know it does not appear that way, but that is the way it was set up and the way it is to this day. However I can see how it looks to some that WE THE PEOPLE no longer have any say so in our country or what goes on here.

Let me rephrase that Ken...I am not talking about the people who have or are wearing the uniform, I am talking about the Americans who have never even been to boot camp. Fat lip for deporting, does that imply you are an illegal or have friends who are?

Sorry Drake, you must be standing up typing..we should go together and get you a chair. This Drake is one of many ways to reach out to people and give them a chance to speak their opinion in hopes of being able to take care of some of the situations going on in our society. I could be reading romance novels and not caring about the direction this country is going. My questions are to get a response, not to offend.

Pepito...from where do you come? I have heard no one put down any race. The topics of immigration that I hear the Americans speak of, is the ILLEGAL let me say it one more time THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Now if I as an American break a law..I pay the price...these people break the law and the law enforcers who try to do something with them are put in prison. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. Get off of your "they're picking on Mexicans and get on the same page!!

cantcu..I have put in my time for this country and as I have stated over and over I am more than happy and willing to serve my time on the border when told the time is right. To sit in prison right now would not help the Border guards who are already in prison. I can do them more good from this computer and writing checks to help them pay their lawyers. These are questions I am asking to get a feel for what is going on out there..seems there are more illegals with computers than Americans when talking about helping the guards or our country. Appreciation goes to all who have fought for our country in all the ways you are fighting. No disrespect was intended.

Nope, contrary to what NBC wants you to think, most voters are patriotic and cherish our traditional American values. Most of them are sickened by the illegal alien crisis. We all want something done about it. It is our politicians who are too lazy. They certainly aren't too busy, I mean they work like two days a week and vote themselves continuous pay raises funded by your tax dollars and mine. Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, and other career politicians don't give a damn about how illegal aliens affect your life. They're doing great, and that's where their concerns begin and end.

We've been taught for generations that there is no right or wrong, everything is a shade of gray. If people do not regain their sense of self, they cannot decide what is truth or not truth. (they're afraid of judging anything) Our politicians do not act on their own beliefs because they are chained by the "sheeple" (sheep + people) The media is guilty of not being unbiased.

Nobody understands the real meaning of diversity, and the people who preach it want the opposite. I believe that we should uphold our immigration laws and it's hard for me to swallow that the people I've "hired" won't do it. I can't go do it myself. (there are laws against that)

The mind is our greatest asset and survival tool, importing people to benefit the country has created wealth and prosperity.....however, being an American is also adopting a particular set of values and all Americans should pledge the oath, even the ones born here since parents can't impart their values to their children anymore...it takes a village. If you don't want to live by our creed, then go live somewhere else.

If Americans were too lazy to stand up for their country, there would not be over 3,300 soldiers who fought and died for what their Commander in Chief thought was a good idea.

Attempting to deport anyone will get you a charge of false imprisonment or at least a fat lip.

They are too busy getting rich off of those you mentioned.

Why should anyone want to come home in a body bag over oil? I fought, and was lied to as well! And there are 58, 229 on a black wall in Washington in a war started by the insertion of Advisers in the 1950's by Eisenhower and Nixon, combat troops inserted in the 1960's by LBJ over a lie!

Now we have the record liar in the White House.

People must be hard-up to join a service, or crazy!

The VA is treating 105,000 vets while your leader cuts their budget and gives tax cuts to the rich!

Why don't you join?

I take it that you are referring to illegal immigrants. We, as a people, cannot deport them. The action has to be taken by our government. They enact the laws which are voted on by us. It is up to the people to elect officials who will carry out the will of the people. The partisan politics being played out do nothing but defeat this purpose.

Americans are so busy trying to make a living that they have little time for much.

I do agree that our children are spoiled and lack work ethic. I am almost 30 and what I see is really going to be a problem.

i understand your frustration but you and all of us need to continue to write and email our elected officials and join respectful groups who work with our officials who are fighting illegal immigration just because you don't see us marching in the streets doesn't mean we are not doing anything
