The Lame Duck. War crimes candidate. Three 6 month terms left.
No. I'm not a liberal; not a conservative; not an independent. Just part of a new generation of young people who think for themselves; who prefer to divorce themselves from old man wars; and who will some day instruct the good old boys how to win, without defeating an enemy.
and yes Bush is a Lame Duck. Here. But soon to be gone.
Irrelevant.

i had a small faucet leak in my bathtub for about a week, when my landlord came by to see my apt- he saw it and come by the next day to fix it. he said that it was caused because of some repairs he made. a few days later i recieved a copy of the water bill for the last 2 months for the building, and the bill was double from last month. Then told me i was responsible since i had not reported it to him earilier. The building uses the same water heater plus he says i used 100$ worth. my lease says landlord pays for water. can he do this????????/

I have lived in this apartment complex for a little over a month. I have noticed things moved, even things missing. When I asked the landlord about it she said nobody from maintenance had been in my apartment. However, I know someone was in here, and no sign forced entry, without a key. Here's another fact. This landlord in the past has evicted many people by popular vote. See, the landlord is a pastor at a church. Everyone in this development attends her church. But me. I am Pagan. My books are openly displayed, my crystals, my cards, bells, athame u name it. HUD mandates religious tolerance. Herbs have gone missing whatever you have it, and the neighbor directly across the street sits on his patio and stares at my front door non-stop. He knows when I leave, when I have guests, and I have seen numerous people peeking in my windows. And saying things like "the devil is in there". Why can't people just leave me be. I pay my rent on time, everytime, and I am clean. What to do?

And why are they calling it a war? Because we invaded? The war in iraq is most like the war on drugs. So long as people have free thinking minds, there will never be a time when soiciety's rules wont be broken. The supposed "War" on terror is like waging war against "love". It's ridiculous to its foundation.

We had a major fuel crisis back in the 70's and were warned of what was ahead if we didn't conserve and find alternatives to oil. Do you think we would be concerned with the Middle East if we didn't need their oil at this point?

If you are a conservative chime in.

If you are a lib, please enlighten me as to how you believe the govt should go about this thing called "national security" (that means keeping the country safe from foreign invaders and attacking tyrannts)

And how about the war on terror? Is the liberal idea "leave terror alone and it will leave you alone" a good policy? What do you libs think we should do about state sponsors of terror? (evil countries that fund and plot disasters like the tokyo subway, the subway in Spain, 9/11, the USS Cole, the embassy bombings in East Africa, the marine barracks bombing in Beirut?

Please dont be stupid and hatefilled. Lets see some honest, thoughtful, and objective answers for a change. And no..."I hate Bush" is not an answer. Id like to hear if any libs have an honest way forward on these issues or if youre just as lost as the fools in congress.

I have three 12-round pistol magazines that I bought in Kentucky that I would like to take with me when I get out of the Army and go back to California. As I understand it, the legal magazine capacity under California state law is 10 rounds. I would like to know if I would be allowed to keep them since I bought them legally in another state, or if they would be illegal to own in California regardless.

My husband, 2 kids & I moved in with my grandmother 12 yrs ago to keep her from being put in a conv. hospital after she got sick. The deal was I would provide home care for her in exchange for rent. All was fine untill last year when her sister (who she never got along with) suddenly starts coming around & taking her to her house for visits. I thought it was OK, untill my grandma all of a sudden decided I was treating her wrong & was taking advantage of her & she moved out & moved in with her sis & brother in law. They wanted us to move out. It took us a couple of months, but we bought our own house & moved out, but we still had our stuff in the garage. we moved a few hours away & it was hard to get back there. I found out today that they threw away all of our stuff. We were never evicted, never given any notices of any kind, never told anything. My question is can she legally throw away all my stuff? It hasn't been that long since we moved out that we left the stuff there.

A man was arrested about a few years ago when police found 865,000 hidden in his car. They arrested him saying the money was used for distribution of narcotics. The city kept the money and did who knows what with it. The man was never found guilty;as a matter of fact the case was dropped due to insufficient evidence as to acquisition of the money. With that said he never got his money back.... WHY? Is this not a violation of the Bill of Rights?

Amendment V

nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
