Alright, if I read your question right, you are saying Global Warming is Bush's fault? Typical.

Chainsaw - you are such an idiot. It isn't the Liberals who are taking away your freedoms, you gimp.

Who introduced the Patriot Act, petal? Yep, it was those nasty "liberals" the Republicans. I doubt you can read, so get mummy to read you some extracts from it. It gives Bush and Cheney the kind of snooping/spying powers that really should only exist in Communist dictatorships. Not a "civilized" democracy. But you dim-witted, brainwashed conservatives have let it happen to you.

The CIA now have the power to break into your house, take away anything they consider to be evidence of subversion, and not have to tell you anything about it. It's state-authorised burglary.

One anonymous tip-off (evidence optional!) is enough to get your phone tapped. Think about that before you get into your next argument with someone who might bear a grudge.

Of course, they'll never use such powers to check up on fine, upstanding, law-abiding citizens like you.......oh no no no.

When I was a young kid, we had at least a month of settled snow through mid-winter. Now we get one or two days of isolated snowfall which is gone before it hits the ground. I shall probably be dead when the worst effects of global warming hit the planet. So no, I am not afraid of it either.

I try not to waste time worrying about something that there is nothing that can be done about. I don't see how we are going to prevent the sun from being hotter. I don't think I'll lose my cool because the average temperature has risen about 1 deg in the last 500 years. The cycle of heating and cooling that the earth has been going through since well forever seems to me to be a silly thing to get worked up about. were these same people that are so worked up about it the same type of people that 20 years or so ago were so fearful because of global cooling and the coming new ice age? whats it going to be 20 years from now? global luke warming?

Well if you support bush then i understand that you are also mentally handicapped. Only a retard would write such a stupid question. Global warming is real.. try getting on a plane and reading a book or two about climate change

Yah.. I would not mind a little warming temperature... but wait, we are really talking about global climate change. We are likely to see even more rain and storms in the Pacific Northwest. We are likely to see droughts cutting our food supplies drastically and severe hurricanes on our South Eastern seaboard. Florida may be submerged because of rising oceans.

You are not doing President Bush any favors by suggesting he is for global climate change.

Thank you for your contribution - I'm sure your delightful and picturesque little North-West Territories' highlands of Canada village will be nicer in ten years' time - but still, try to be a little less selfish and think about the many areas of settlement and the doomed wildlife that will be lost with rising sea levels, and rising temperatures - which will also make life for those 85% of us who live nearer the equator than the poles even hotter (and it is already way too hot now!) - this is not to mention the increase in tragic natural disasters relating to salt- and rain water.

If I had my way on this issue, there would be a tough world police to destroy everything that is emitting more than its alternatives in industry, transportation and in homes & businesses. Then we could save the planet (as we know it today), and live just as well using the less harmful alternatives.

While i hate the idea of emissions from SUVs and pollution etc, the truth is global warming is not caused by us. Global warming is happening on all the other planets in our solar system, and i don't think there is anyone driving SUVs around on mars, do you?!

I agree with you. Bring it on. It started just in time for my return to England from the Southern hemisphere and I am all for it.
Having said that I do not really believe that mankind can do much about it. It is a natural phenomenon that is being exploited by the politicians

I don't know of anyone that is afraid of global warming.

I am concerned that there are environmental changes occurring that may drastically affect our standard of living while we continue to elect political leaders with brains the size of walnuts.
