I think there is outrage, but also an outrage flowchart:
Outrage starts with the US. Any left-over outrage can be applied to the western world. Any left-over outrage after that can be applied to advanced countries throughout the world. Finally, whatever outrage is left can be applied to dictatorships, theocracies, despotic governments worldwide.
Bottom line, libs can't think past our flaws and focus on the real problems.

Bush is a successful White Christian male who cares about doing right. Not so, the Iranians. Therefore, using the modern Liberal logic, Bush is evil and Iran is a victim.
I just learned how this works.
Damn! Do they really think that Iran has done nothing wrong? Is not capturing a non-enemy inherently evil? Oh, right. No good and evil anymore. Only oppressors and victims. And Argle, we aren't in kindergarten anymore. Get on to 1st.

I am not liberal, but would like to know if the Geneva Convention applies to nations that are not at war with each other. The Geneva Convention clearly lays out what is and is not acceptable in warfare, but what about in peace? Great Britain and Iran are currently not in a state of war, does this make a difference? I honestly do not know and would like an answer from someone that does know.

You know I thought I would see some outrage. I guess your question is legitimate. and the libs are totally against democracy.
I really don't understand why they don't leave and go join Iran or N. Korea since that is where their obvious sympathies lay.

Blindfolding is NOT against the Geneva Convention.
You have no evidence that anyone has been forced to speak against their country.
Try tossing an occasional fact or two in with your other screechings.

They don't want to make Iran mad. Besides Jimmy Carter has a plan to solve this.
Just because the hostages are all beat up doesn't mean they aren't sincere.

I'm a Liberal and we should have invaded Iran instead of Iraq. They pose a greater threat to our security that Iraq did!

Could you please give us exact quotes where they were forced to speak against their country. I didn't see them speak against their country at all. Give us pictures where they were blindfolded. And, show us the Geneva convention's link where it says blindfolding is a violation.
Thanks,
avid skeptic.
