Them speaking up, along with others in the US military proves that the conduct of solders has changed. While on active duty in the 70's and 80's we were trained to say nothing, Name, rank. ser # only. With the open mouths of the modern military it is no wonder we are having so much trouble.

They don't expect English speaking folks to believe the letters. They want the non-English speaking folks to believe them. And they want the attention of the world focused on something other than their nuclear program. Seems to be working pretty well, don't you think?

i still think the brits are trained to be passive without giving up important intel and be able to survive and be freed. it may be a smart move, seeing as no one lost their head.
