I just started following politics about 8 years ago, so I am wondering if there has always been such a divide between rights and lefts, or has there ever been a happy medium. It seems that if we could ban together more, things would get accomplished.

I will leave the country. I've been here for 19 years, ever since I was 5 years old. My parents came here on a tourist visa to visit my uncle who came here to study for a phd on a student visa. My uncle became a permanent resident and is now a US citizen. My parents however overstayed their visa and made me illegal. I'm a 23 year old Brazilian illegal now. I went to school K-12, got an associate degree. My life is ruined though, what am I supposed to do now scrub toilets? If I go back to Brazil i'll be in even more trouble because i'll have to learn how to write, read in portugeuse plus i'll feel like a foreigner. ..What should I do?

I was recently assaulted at crown casino,
And would just like to know what will happen, as i haven't spoken to the police yet to make a statement, the incident is (i'd assume) on camera, and they caught the guy who decided his beer glass would look better smashed into the side of my head.

Many of the most outspoken opponents of abortion also oppose birth control, comprehensive sex education, and taxes that fund social services (education, Welfare, health care) that reduce the reasons for abortion; leaving many mothers without adequate resources to care for a child. Does this strike anyone else as a contradiction? How can we decrease the number of abortions in the United States while guaranteeing a high quality of life for all mothers and children?

I have noticed that the firing af US attorneys with the media has become the lead story, and no one hears anything on Walter Reid any more. Are our soldiers and veterans so insignificant that they can be pushed aside in the media in hopes people will forget about their plight?
